First timer, ordered a roast beef poboy, mushrooms ponoy and ginger beer. Too a minute to order because the bar was BUSY and packed. Also took a minute to get the food but I went on a Friday after work time. Worth the wait! The roast beef poboy is NOT the deli stuff. It's that potroast style that you pull apart and add to some soft poboy bread. We got the gravy on the side which was a plus so the bread wouldn't get soggy. I had the mushrooms poboy and it was really good. I hate they forgot to put the onions on it but it was still good. The fries were good and hot. There is some kind of sauce they give you that should be marketed In bottles. Overall, I highly recommend. Now I understand why they are always packed.

One of the most down south, southern hospitality quality places I’ve ever been . We were visiting the hospital down the road and wanted to eat at a nice place for lunch, and we may have just found our go-to when in the Nola area . The service was timely and our waitress was amazing . It’s a bar setting but still really relaxed for the whole family, they had coloring books for the littles and the atmosphere was great . Really good food, their shrimp and grits and boudin egg rolls are to die for! They also had a really cool menu, the way they named some of their meals was really clever and fun to read .

Nice little bar with good food. We started with the alligator sausage appetizer. It was very good, but we were a little sad at how little there was for the price. My husband had Chicken Sausage Gumbo (daily special) and then the Shank U burger. He said that the burger would’ve been good on its own, but the addition of the sausage patty made it perfect. I had the Rusty’s Shrimp Wrap. It was pretty tasty. I was mildly annoyed that it had tomatoes in it (though not listed on the menu). I picked it off and was able to finish it otherwise. It was a nice stop on our way back into town.

First off, atmosphere was decent, food was good, the Service was terrible. Let me tell you what happened.....

It was my birthday and my girlfriend and I wanted to try the Riveshack Tavern as we passed by it many times. We got there and took a table. At first, it seemed to be going well. We ordered an appetizer and a couple of beers. But service went downhill fast. We ordered our meal and shortly after, another couple sat down at the table next to ours. My girlfriend and I talked and drank our beer and waited, and waited and waited for our meal. The other couple next to us got their meal, ate and was given the bill before my girlfriend and I was served our meal. When we asked and even complained about the food, the server attitude got worse. She gave my girlfriend her meal and said "Here you go your Highness". And dropped the plate on the table. Then she brought our bill while we had nothing to drink. I was not going to sit there and take such disrespect. I went and paid the tab and promptly left.

The only thing I can see is that the server didn't like my girlfriend and I are in an interracial relationship.

I will not go back to an establishment that hires racist...

It was Taco Thursday when we moved in for the evening. It was also trivia night with the entertainment being bluegrass. I'm from out of state, from an area that has a lot of "Taco makers". The waitress warned that their really not tacos, there are version of tacos. We ordered a handful and she was right. The environment was a lot of fun. Good old relics on the wall, pictures, signs, it was country it was jazzy, it was Bluegrass, it was all the above. I thought the food was absolutely terrible I'm really not into cabbage tacos. And I'm giving them a big break because their tacos are probably the worst thing on their menu. So they should have dissuaded all of us from ordering them. One of us should have been told to order a signature dish. After all there were three of us and that's too many to go for the tacos alone. What I did like, was the people. And as the people go, so does the rating. So to the smiley wonderful cute blond waitress that was 30 years younger than I am, great job. Enjoy the four stars and I am definitely going back. Not for the waitress but for some more Bluegrass. Tru dat. Although I will enjoy that beautiful smile if I...

I didn't try the food. The live music was great, Adam Pearce doing a solo acoustic set. I went to celebrate a friend's bday at a table outside, and had never been there before. The bar staff left a lot to be desired. On the 1st order I placed, noticing NO ONE was wearing a mask inside, I asked if I could remove mine, too. The bartender gave me "a look", something like disgust, and said if I sit down, I can. So, I sat on the bar stool and ordered, then went back out to join my friends. When I came back later for another drink, the bartender looked at me, said, "Give me just a minute," then proceeded to finish that order, and took 2 more before coming back to me, both men who walked up long after I did. She left me waiting a while. There were 4 or 5 people behind the bar. No one else checked on me, either. I don't think I'll really be going out of my way to go back, and since I'm never...
