Service was good, and the atmosphere was OK. It always seems like they never finish remodeling.

2 meat plate, brisket dry and bland, seemed to be a reheat and not fresh. Ribs tender and good flavor. The twice baked potatoe salad and chips were very good. 2nd 2 meat plate, brisket same, dry and bland, sausage was OK, missing something, okra, no flavor, again bland. Tried to add bbq sauce to the brisket, but bbq sauce is not to my liking. it tastes like a ranch style bean base. Need a few options on bbq sauce. The bread was chewy and had an odd oily taste. For the price ~$95, including tip for 2 people needs to be better. Thankful for a gift card of $25. May try a dinner to compare quality, but it will be a while...

Hubby and I purchase a three meat place with sausage, chicken and ribs and a two meat plate with chicken and brisket. Everything was delicious, tender and not dry. They have a most tasty buttery toasted bread that comes with the order that is so good. The ribs and brisket were tender and grilled just right.The chicken and sausage was moist and so tasty. I just left the ball field and called an order in. They had 5 minutes before closing. The best waitress took my order of 3 plates and she was so sweet and you could tell she enjoyed her job. She could have easily said we are about to close but she didn’t. Then when we got there our food came out right on time and I must say it was amazing! Delicious and more than enough to fill us up!
