Big Slice Pizza — Restaurant in Louisiana

Soooo glad I found this place! Doesn't look like much on the outside. It's just a small store front in a tiny strip type building. The inside is, once again, small, but very well laid out and interesting. The decor is quite awesome. My daughter and I particularly loved seeing the huge dome pizza oven. And being able to watch them cook your food is a plus also! Now for the important part.... the food! I ordered a meatball calazone, my daughter ordered a big slice of pepperoni and sausage, and we had the fried pickles to share. This calozone was the best one I have ever had in my 30 years of being alive. It was so stuffed full of meat and cheese that it was falling out of the sides everywhere! And the crust was thing, light and crispy! It was by far the more amazing thing ever! The big slice was literally the biggest piece of pizza I've ever seen, think 4 pieces in one... it was huge! And only $6. And the pickles were fried to golden perfection👌 so crispy and delicious! And on top of all that, the hostess that took our order was amazing also. She made sure we got food fast. She made sure we had everything we needed and treated us like family. This will definitely be my family's new go-to pizza...

This was my first time eating here. As soon as you walk in … it’s radical!! I LOVED the design theme of the restaurant! Besides the wonderful ambience and decor. The lady JENNIFER who took my order made me feel “welcomed here”!!! She greeted me as soon as I walked in and told me that they have lunch specials as well as answered some of my questions that I had. She was very pleasant and KIND! My family and I will be back! Thank you for showing me that kindness is not dead. Side note* The pizza is HUGE! Definitely the correct name “BIG SLICE PIZZA”. It is more on the thin crust side, has the perfect amount of great quality cheese and pepperoni. Wonderfully made! Love this place! I am VERY picky about my pizza since I am from up north! I feel confident that I know good pizza when I have it! & THIS is good pizza! Out of probably 30 pizza places I have tried in Louisiana, this is the best l've had yet here in the south! It's thin, just a tad bit greasy (as it should be), the crust is crispy, and I love it! AND, the fries! Sooooo good!!! I can't get one without the other! & It ain't called Big Slice for nothing! The slices are very big! Like a large pizza is almost too big!
