I came here last Friday and let’s just say that I was “the only chocolate chip in the cookie.”For those who don’t know what I’m referring to, that means the only black person in the restaurant and the rest being white. That wasn’t the issue though, the issue was the fact that when I came in I wasn’t “properly” greeted and that it wasn’t until 5 mins later I was then asked if I wanted to place in an order but that was from the person who was handling the takeout orders. When I had first came in 2 hostess’s came over but never greeted me. Then another hostess came out and never said nothing as well. It wasn’t until later when a white couple came in, is when that same hostess greeted them. Later on some more white folks came in “some in groups” and received better service!!! It’s sad that this type of racial prejudice is still happening but I know that it won’t end though “no matter how better it gets.” That’s why when people say that they are shocked to see this type of prejudice, if they’re smart they’ll realize that this sort of prejudice will continue to be a factor!!! With the restaurant incident, even though I was “eventually” served, I will never visit this place again because I know where I’m not wanted. The food wasn’t that good anyway, so I will continue to go to my Mediterranean spot in the city where I’m treated “much” better, plus the food is very good and the service is “way” faster!!! What a wonderful restaurant.  If you like Greek/Mediterranean food, this is the place.  First, let's talk about the service. The restaurant was packed when we arrived.  I wondered about getting a table.  The manager immediately greeted us and we were quickly seated.  The waiter (I wished I remembered his name) greeted us within a minute. Seeing how busy the restaurant was, I was very impressed with the amazingly prompt service.  This was our service experience throughout our time there.  Second, the food. DELICIOUS!  We started with the smoked salmon with toast points.  I highly recommend it.  My husband had a salad with grilled shrimp and I had the Gyro plate. We loved both of them.  My only - not complaint - was that the wrong decision on my part was ordering the rice pilaf as a side.  It was not the best choice.  One last thing, the iced tea is amazing.  It was crisp and clear.  Also, the waiter never let me ask for more.  It was refilled promptly. Overall I give this a five-star review.  The service is excellent.  The food was amazing.  The prices are very reasonable.  A must go...

I usually really enjoy Byblos but every now and then I receive soggy food which is very disappointing. I always order through Uber and lots of times my fried item would be in a separate container or at least to where it’s not touching the wet food but this time I received soggy fried cauliflower because it was right next to my moussaka, so it was not enjoyable at all. My food also arrived ice cold, which I understand might not be the restaurants fault. I was also disappointed because I received fried cauliflower instead of mujadra which is what I actually ordered. My last concern is When I ordered the side of falafel, it did not say it would be drenched in hummus. I did not like that at all, the falafel balls are delicious on its own without the hummus but at least put in the description so that people know. Now that I know, next time I will request no hummus on top. Food is very tasty but small details like these should...
