I typically judge a Chinese joint based on their Cashew Chicken and by today's offering, this place is just about the worst I've ever had. To start with, the customers are separated from the staff by plexiglas and have to insert their payment, and get their food, via "boxes" I'm used to seeing on prison shows; the woman taking my payment didn't bother to smile, thank me, nothing. The Cashew Chicken was way too sweet and contained mostly celery and carrots; pieces of chicken and mushrooms were more scarce than cashews. The shrimp egg roll was tasteless - no evidence of shrimp to be found - while the pork egg roll was, again, way too sweet. The fried wonton's were so sweet as to be inedible. I would give this place zero...

“BEWARE”!!!!Ordered 3 Fried Chicken and shrimp fried rice plates and the fried chicken was HORRIBLE!!! The smell was wrong and the taste was a mixture of a chemical or soap taste. Absolutely horrible. I was passing through Gonzales and picked up to take home in north Baton Rouge otherwise I’d taken it ALL BACK. The fried chicken was NOT EDIBLE! I ordered egg rolls which was okay and the sesame chicken and fried rice plate which was ok as well. But for $49 and HORRIBLY FRIED CHICKEN NEVER AGAIN! They should take fried chicken off menu because clearly they weren’t taught...

Don’t waste your money! must be new management over the last year or so. DO NOT ORDER any chicken tossed in sauce i.e. sesame, general tso, etc. it is ALL BATTER!!! no chicken. Not a one time thing! Was our go to place until this started to happen about a year ago. Stopped ordering from here until my mother ordered pickup for my kids today. Same thing! ALL BATTER! Shame on you.
