I should've known my dining experience would be awful when I walked in the building but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Well, first off it is beyond dim in there. I had to use the flashlight on my phone in order to read the menu. We sat by a window but the blinds were shut and black curtain was closed. We tried to open a part of the curtain to get more light. We sat for a while scrolling through our phones and during this time the waitress kept asking us if we were OK as if we had our food. My meal came with a salad. The salad was brought to me on a small, narrow appetizer dish to where there was no possible way to add my dressing and mix the salad without most of it ending up on the table. The chicken of my meal was beyond salty. I told the waitress to take it back after eating only three bits of it. In their minds, taking off $4 of a $18 meal was satisfactory for them. So I basically still paid for the chicken! It took too long for our food to get to us to begin with and I didn't want to wait longer for a redo. Oh, I asked about a drink menu. Mind you this is also a bar. The waitress told me they only have Pepsi products. Like really??? I was too unhappy being there and held back very hard expressing my concerns. Never again will I visit this place. If you do visit, bring sunglasses for when you exit the building! That's how dark it is in there. Upon leaving, I was blinded by daylight and had to pause so my eyes could adjust. This place is not made to be a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service here was not great. First we ordered drinks. I just got a tequila and soda, while my fiancĆ© asked if they had Jonnie walker black. The waitress didnāt know so she went to check. she came back and said no they donāt, and didnāt offer up any alternatives or give us a list so he just didnāt order a drink. Then we ordered the oyster sampler and after a bit of a wait we were brought the Paris road platter (not oysters). When we explained this is what we ordered the waitress informed us that that was too bad because they didnāt have oysters (which is a whole section on their menu) and took the platter away. Kinda disappointed, she could have left the already prepared food as a consolation but whatever no big deal. Then I order the French onion soupā¦they are out. So now the two things I ordered are unavailable. Then I order the tuna steak and the waitress says it comes with a salad and has me pick a dressing. When my food arrives, there is no salad but instead corn drenched in butter. Definitely not the healthy side I was hoping forā¦the whole night went on like this. The food that we were able to order and get was good so maybe weāll take out from here again in the future but I donāt think Iāve experienced such thoughtless service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI come to Desiās a lot I love the food. The last couple of times I got Rihanna as our waitress and she is a good waitress. She stays busy because she is the only person who is working. The āmanagerā is ALWAYS sitting down smoking cigarettes and drinking. I love the idea of a family restaurant and a fun environment but I eat here a couple of times a month and this woman continues to work her butt off while her manager is playing every single time I come in. I have seen rihanna work the bar, wait tables, clean tables, and even clean her own dishes while several of her co- workers are partying. Even if the manager is off the clock her behavior is inappropriate. She is supposed to be representing this business at all times. Keep up the good work Rihanna you are very appreciated. (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong) Also the music...
