I visited this location on August 16, 2020 during happy hour because I wanted a slush. I have visited this store in the past and often tip my servers. This particular time I had an experience that has made me not want to return. I reported the incident to the corporate complaint office but only received a response telling me they may not be able to address my concern personally.
I went to get a slush and ordered a Route 44 fresh fruit lemon slush with mango. The person on the intercom typed in on the screen and also stated: you want a Strawberry lemonade slush with mango. I said no, (I'm allergic to strawberries by the way) I want a route 44 fresh fruit lemon slush with mango. She then says, you want a lemonade. I said you have 3 fresh fruit slush and I want lemon. For whatever reason there was some confusion so I asked for a manager. I waited a few minutes and none came out so I pushed the call button and asked for one again. When she finally came out appearing annoyed, she said you asked for a manager. I said yes. She never introduced herself properly. I had my mask on but she gave me and my car more than six feet. I asked her name and she said Christa. I started explaining my concerns and she's paying attention to everything but me and then promptly cut me off and said to me that I was upset because my order was not heard correctly. I said to her, very upset by this time that if she would pay attention to me and let me finish then she would know why I'm upset. She told me that she didn't have to listen to me if I was going to speak to her with that attitude. I told her she was correct, she didn't have to listen to me and I rolled my window up and pulled off. That situation was very upsetting and embarrassing as other people were in ear shot and could hear our exchange. I almost felt like had I been white she wouldn't have handled me that way. Upon reflecting when driving away, I realized she sounded like the same person who was messing up my order. In my complaint I asked for a return call and apology. I haven't received either yet. I wish someone would contact me to let me know this was addressed. I will not go back to any business that don't reach out to their customers who have complaints or allow their employees to be rude to their customers. My email is...
Read moreI frequent this location via DoorDash a lot because it’s the only one near me. They never give the condiments unless I’m there in person, so I called my dasher and asked them to ask them to PLEASE ask them to pay attention to all my condiments because I had quite a large order with different things that I needed condiments for. From coneys, to corn dogs, to chicken sandwiches and mozzarella sticks, etc. so not only did they not put not a one condiment, they made sure, out of a 44 plus dollar order, to send ONE coney in a huge bag. I called several times and nobody is answering the phone. This is beyond pitiful! They give us options to choose condiments and they never send them and that’s not right! The sauces bring the food together! Who wants mozzarella sticks with no marinara? Hot dogs with literally NO ketchup, mustard or relish? Corn dogs, no condiments. French toast sticks, NO SYRUP. A Gm or someone higher up needs to take a serious look at this store and find out why they’re holding onto the sauces that we’re PAYING for with our items, yet never getting them! And who made my huge order with ONE ITEM! I believe they were trying to be smart alecks because my dasher asked them to pay attention to my order and condiments! Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE! Read moreFirst of all I been at work since 8am so that makes me tired, fat, and hungry. So I’ve been eating sonic for the last three nights here on Paris Rd in Chalmette and the past two nights my food was great. Oh but somehow tonight I gets home and start eating my supposedly large jumbo chicken combo, but there wasn’t anything large about it. Now I know how it’s supposed to look because as I stated I’ve been here the last two nights and was well satisfied. Well this particular night my popcorn chicken was not even half way filled in the carton, not to mention my fries was cold, steal, old, and just plain old horrible. So before I threw it away, I called Sonic (5) times only to not get an answer. I didn’t feel like coming back outside cause as I stated I been at work since 8 and I’m very much tired. But if this is the service that I’m going to be spending my hard earned money on, y’all can definitely keep it. And to top it off I tipped my car hopper because I do appreciate when things get done for me and I normally check my food before leaving.
