Café Roma Chalmette — Restaurant in Louisiana

Decent food for lunch but Chalmette has better options at the price point. The quality of the food was good. I've had several different pizzas, the calzone, the salads, and a pasta dish because we often come here for lunch as a work group. I do not think the price is justified for the quality of the food. I feel that there are many better quality options at the price point that Cafe Roma is seeking. The one major downside is the food tends to be greasier than expected (even for Italian food) and that makes the afternoon more difficult to get through. Oh my god! The food is plentiful for the price! We went yesterday around 8:10 PM, greeted by a blonde lady and was seated into a spacious booth. We got 3 pastas, cheese sticks, large pizza, and a wrap. The wrap was big, had to take it Togo, same goes with the pizza (we took the whole pizza Togo). The salad that comes with the pasta was alright, didn’t like the garlic sauce that comes with it but they had ranch we can take instead but the pasta was DELICIOUS! This place is complete garbage. The customer service you receive from here is sad to say the least. How can an owner get away with talking to his customers anyway he feels fit? I have never been so furious, this guy is completely incompitant and the food is not all that. The place across the river is 100 times better and if they mess up your order they will gladly fix it.
