It is unfortunate that I must give this review. We live on base and just had some of the worse customer service that I have experienced since being stationed in Belle Chasse.
Our delivery took nearly an hour to get here and it was extremely cold, I called to check on the delivery and the manger told me the situation; they had 2 base delivers and 1 was having car trouble. I understood and asked what are we to do if our pizza was cold and she assured me that I would have a discount credited to my account for my next order. I didn’t find it fair but I was willing to accept that token, given that it was out of her control. We spent nearly $50.00 tonight but hey, a discount on our next order will do.
Once the pizza arrived, it was COLD, so I called to make the store aware and hold them to their promise of giving our account credit. The young man that answered the phone was extremely RUDE and stated “well, yea, it is going to be cold, what did you expect”... he went on to tell me that the manager “did not have time” to talk to me and she can call me back... I asked if she had my number and he said he was unsure but it should be in the system. I asked for the managers name and store number and he then asked if I wanted to just wait for her because he has things to do. I was floored and will be calling HOLLY (the manager) and dominoes’ corporate office tomorrow or email them.
I understand that you might be busy and in over your head but there is a way to handle customers and solve issues. Holly, I suggest you sit down with your team and go over customer service. I would like the mattered solved as soon as possible. If you Service the military base, you should always be prepared for that demographics, have drivers ready and come up with a plan. Your lack of planning should not fall on the responsibility of the service members who patronize your store. Read moreI have ordered from this store twice the first time was a very pleasant experience. The order arrived on time, the food was fresh and the delivery driver was outstanding. The second order was a completely opposite experience. They did not have a driver to deliver to my address and instead of calling to inform me I waited 30 minutes past the estimated delivery time until I gave the store a ring. At that time I was told that my order was voided due to the lack of a drivers (understandable). When I spoke to, we will just call her D, she informed me that they attempted to call me but must have dialed the wrong number,which is a poor, classic excuse.So not only did I waste my money(paid by card) but I also wasted my entire lunch break waiting for nothing. I understand that things happen however this store's follow through should have been a lot better. So in conclusion this store in my experience is 50% satisfactory. I called them 5xs to ask if they deliver on military base but each time they hung up on me immediately after answering the phone. So I had to drive there being that they are the only pizza place that isn't a 20min drive there. When I finally got there I had to wait about 10mins before anyone bothered to come to the window to assist me. Once they did they asked me 20 questions just so I could get and pay for my pizza. Finally when I got my pizza I asked them if they deliver on base, and the girl responded saying I just have to call because the hours of deliver vary. And I responded with so call even though yall just immediately hang up the phone like you did to me earlier.
