ASAHI Sushi Bar and Asian Grill — Restaurant in Louisiana

I am COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED! I will never be doing any business at Asahi in Belle Chasse EVER AGAIN!!!😡

To start I ordered at 4:58 and the order was not ready until after 6:30 with being told there was only a 30 min wait!!

I ordered online and gave a few substitutes and wrote them very CLEARLY to understand! And NEVER got a phone call to confirm!

When i went to exchange my rolls for the right ones they said there was nothing they could do and said that i was wrong when it was clear as day written on the reciept and was obviously wrong in the box… they expected me to pay for new rolls because they would not make it how it was ordered!

They refused to refund my money for the rolls or remake them the right way!

I left with no food and my card...

Literally cannot get anyone to answer the phone to place a to go order. Not sure how to get ahold of anyone. Showed up to be told it would be at least an hour and a half wait so not sure how they expect to receive orders if no one will answer the phone? It wasn’t even busy so doesn’t make any sense why it would take so long. Service is very unprofessional. Ate in restaurant a few days ago and our server was not friendly at all, she was the same person who told me unless I was picking up an order I’d have at least an hour to hour and a half wait. Just moved from California, and after a long drive was just looking for some decent food. This place was great!!! You really can’t mess up sashimi but the salmon was on point and tasted fresh. My daughter ordered the beef teriyaki and we were both surprised when it was brought out steaming and sizzling on one of those skillet plates. The only thing I didn’t really like was the little side salad that came w the meal. It was mainly just cabbage and carrots and the dressing was not the best.
