Found hair in my Cinnamon roll. Didn't even finish it. Got to center and a straight black hair was sticking out it was cooked inside the 🍩. How gross and unsanitary. I wont be back to this mary lee location. Customers beware: save your gas and time and spend your money elsewhere besides the asian gentlemen(owner) can sometimes be very rude and short patient and rushes customer to make order. Its all about 💰. I use to frequent this location because it was close by to where i live but i wont come back anymore. The hair was the last straw. Where is the health department when u need food safety? Should be mandatory to wear gloves and hair net. Also i sense that the owner is bias towards people of color. A few times i went inside..i was served on but without a smile and thank you but instead like a nuisance and a roach. They don't have to admit to it..it shows on their faces and demeanor. But its funny how the white folks get treated with dignity and respect. My motto is everybody has money aint no race or color superior than the other. Be fair with all the customer. Not just certain ones. I didnt even bother to drive back or call to resolve the issue because i know the owner may say something ignorant and then i will too so i just leave it alone and they just lost a...
Read moreI don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet. I have been coming here since I was little (we would grab a donut for breakfast before dropping me off at the Y for summer camp).
Literally, I have tried donuts all over the world: Korea, Mexico, Chile...I left the USA years ago, and I still cannot find the quality that Mrs Jane and her husband are able to concoct here. Do not miss the opportunity to come on a Saturday morning when the donuts are bought by the dozens, which means they will almost always be warm and fresh for you. I wait months for it until we visit home. Also, spend some time inside instead of the drive-thru. The owners remember my family every time we come and we catch up over their crispy-in-the-right-places, fluffy,...
Read moreI've been a customer as far back as I can remember. I get doughnuts or breakfast here 3-4 mornings a week. As many times as I have visited whether I walked in and ordered to go, took advantage of the drive through or dined in you would think I have had at least 1 negative experience or complaint. I haven't, I can honestly say each and every time I've stopped at the Mary Lee's on O'Neal Lane it was a great experience. The doughnuts and other treats speak for themselves and the owners, employees and other patrons are always a pleasure to...
