We recently visited this McDonald's on our way back home to Texas. I want to send my praises to Wayne for his exceptional hospitality and for making our visit so pleasant. I have never received such amazing customer service. He was professional and caring. He greeted us warmly, took our order, and pointed out all the precautions in place during the pandemic that were meant to help keep us safe (disinfecting wipes and hand gel stations). This made us feel very comfortable given that we hadn't eaten inside a restaurant in a long time. So glad to see all the employees wearing mask too. Wayne promptly delivered our food to our table and had us verify that our orders were complete/correct. During our meal he offered us refills and offered to help clear our table of any trash. Wayne went above and beyond. I was truly impressed and grateful for him after a stressful time on the road with two toddlers. Wayne is a gem and truly deserves the recognition and a raise! Iām a diabetic. I cannot have the extra sugar. It was printed on the receipt. The lady at the window even asked me if I wanted any kind of sweetener at all. I said no. No sugar at all. Iām a diabetic. She said she remembers. I am literally there about five days a week ordering the same thing. Some put no liquid sugar on the receipt. Most do not. Well, the SAME exact woman who took my order and who I spoke to made my coffees. I just got home and took one sip and theyāre sweetened with some kind of sugar!! They went straight down the drain!! My last take-out order took 27 minutes and there were only 3 customers in the store including myself. Then when I got home I discovered that my chicken sandwich was under-done to the point of being inedible. And I'm not the type to have unrealistic expectations about fast food or to exaggerate; when I say it was inedible, it was inedible. Since the restaurant is close to my house I've gone there off and on for three years and have literally never seen the same employee twice. That tells me they have an insane turnover rate, which tells me they have poor management. There's no other explanation for the consistently terrible service.
Here's a pro-tip, the Burger King next door is much better. I don't even like Burger King but if I want to get in and out within 5 minutes and not be angry afterwards, that's the much...
