Back in January 2023 my husband bought several smoked meats home to TN. They were fabulous and we looked forward to going back for more. Your smoked chorizo was especially good. Unfortunately when we arrived this past week March 2023 to buy more, the prepackaged meats were no longer displayed as before. We asked the young man with the beard and glasses about purchasing the delicious meat and all he said was that they don't do that anymore. He did not offer any other items on the menu, did not try to explain the new concept of the establishment, he just stood there looking at us. We walked in with money in our pockets ready to buy something delicious to bring back to TN. We left empty handed and extremely disappointed that your staff has not been trained in the art of greeting people with a smile and offering suggestions to potential repeat customers. We went in to get a pound of the pork cracklings (which are 18 bucks a LB). They used to be worth the price. Today they were horrid to the point of being inedible. I called because it was just that bad. The person spoke to said he would replace the item, but made it very clear that he thought I was trying to scam him. He was very indignant indicating that I was the only one that took issue with the product. His attitude was such that to me it was not worth the chance of a confrontation for $18.00. I threw the bag away.

We split “The Divorce” which is a sampler of half portions of ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, smoked brisket, andouille sausage, boudin sausage, two sides, and fried rolls. We had the baked beans and potato salad for sides. Everything was amazing. The meats had a deep smoky flavor and were lean and tender. They had excellent taste as is but there was also Tres Bon Creole seasoning and barbecue sauce that took things up another level.
