Waffle House — Restaurant in Louisiana

I really hate writing bad reviews, but Waffle House (Loc #2343) simply deserves it... TERRIBLE!

I placed an online order, paid in-app, I arrived at the quoted completion time, walked up to the counter, showed the employee my order confirmation, and the employee told me to sit and wait.

I waited almost 30 mins before that same employee realized that my food had been sitting on their counter the entire time. Basically, my order was already ready for pickup when I first arrived, bagged and getting cold; but no one ever cared to check!

The employee casually handed me my food. Naturally, I inquired why I was made to wait so long. In response, I got ALL the ATTITUDE in the world from both the employee and the manager on duty. They were completely dismissive, provided horrible service, and were overall rude people. They did not care one bit about what I was trying to say. Sadly, all this happened near a table with young kids listening in.

As much as I love Waffle House, I will NEVER EVER go back to 1922 W Airline Hwy in LaPlace, LA. Honestly, it’s not about the unnecessarily long wait, it’s not about the $30 meal or the $5 tip…it’s the principle. I sincerely hope they get it together for the sake of other Waffle House...

This people went argue because on of the. Employed get mad cuz the food was not wath we asking. I ask for sunny side eggs and they don't make good. The grits was raw literally and they argue with the customer which I was. And I vote me to fight and one of the employed came rubber me all my hands. And denied after. The call me qordr and make me angry. Because they all five come to my table to argue and the waitress went true a argue and the fight her because she try to talk to us and apologized with us . That was a big thing. Waffle House is distinguish Nevada the suppose to be cool place but no unrespectful and good food. My food was bad and our nervous bad becauthis PE. And try to call the attention because I call manager and manager. Can't control thee lagy who touch me and the 🌱 lady who try fight me. I bout to go all consequences on this matter. And I did not go my voice quite because I'm Shure they got other people same. So. Your girls do not know how cook and never know how try diversity of people . They should not stay...

The food at Waffle House was excellent. The service was a little shaky. Although the young lady meant well I know and really tried her best, it seemed that she was just a little off for the night. The worst thing about the whole situation is that we came into the restaurant at approximately 3 a.m. in the morning, no one, absolutely no one was in the restaurant and every one of the tables in the restaurant were dirty. We had to ask to have a table clean just so we would be able to sit down and enjoy your meal. Again the food was very good but the service and the Cleaniness of the place was not acceptable. I wondered when the last customers had been in that location. The young lady told me that it was a lot of people in there an hour ago. You would think that from the time that the last people left and we came in there with at least been one table clean. Not white. The only reason why I didn't give it one star was because the food was good and I honestly think that young lady was trying. I did tip her well...
