I'd like to start off by saying I had just spent a week in New Orleans eating amazing food. We stopped here on our way back home. We ordered fried rice, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp and flounder and beignet for dessert. The shrimp and flounder had some flavor, but the rest was the most bland fried food we have ever had in Louisiana. As for the beignets.. y'all, they were laughable. They were the pop can biscuits that were fried with powdered sugar. Like the ones on the Chinese buffet. The service was subpar, with polite waitstaff. The atmosphere definitely makes you think you're about to eat some tasty food. There were many around us having the boiled platters. Read moreI came to this location with my mother and we were greeted and given our booth immediately after arriving from the host. The server was very nice and answered all questions we had about items and recommendations. The food arrived in a timely matter, around 10-15 minutes with gloves and bibs and utensils needed to crack the crab legs. They also give out hand wipes.
