Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Louisville

Don't patronize this place often, just when driving home from Augusta, about half way home. Before I get to Wrens headed south, I start thinking about their banana split. Then between Wrens and before I get to Louisville, the craving sets in hard. Guess I am addicted. Know they have a lot of other good things to eat, but nothing better than their banana split. Advise don't start, you want find yourself hooked as I am!!! Friendly and clean place too.

Jan 25, 21 Very long by and tiring day. Coming home not far out of Augusta headed home near Swainsboro, the craving hits me well before I get to Wrens. Banana split❤️❤️❤️‼️ I find the resolve to drive on. If I can just make it to Louisville. The miles slowly fall behind me. Then I see it, my immediate goal - the DQ in Louisville. I pull in, am third in line, the lady at the window must be ordering for a family of 22. Finally, I have it and pull around to enjoy THE BANANA SPLIT‼️ And it is as good as I remembered from the last two times. Awesomely delicious‼️‼️Soon, my weariness is gone, my energy and morale restored, I complete my journey...

Truthfully, the owners don't care about the customers. it seems they only care about making even mere cents off of someone no matter how well they've done in the day (a dollar for the smallest portions of ranch sauce), the place is old and needs work, especially the speakers at the drive thru..owners yell at the employees for being on their phones then turn around and get on their phones and disappear. Most disturbing thing I've seen was them adding milk out of a container to the icecream bags and then grabbing regular marked down gallon milk to the same bags(who knows how old that milk is). The food was something on its own, high possibility you won't get fresh food, and if you were to complain about it you sure aren't getting it fresh. Oh and last time I even heard that since they ran out of medium drink cups they "compulsory sell large cups instead" as in they charged customers for a large cup even without them knowing about it! This dairy queen is more disturbing than the locals would...

This store arbitrarily CLOSED just BECAUSE they felt like it!! That was the response I got tonight when I arrived at 9:45pm to order and use restroom. The lights were on when I pulled in, but when I got out of my car and reached for the door the lights when out. When i pulled around to the DT window and asked what time they closed she said "9:45 tonight". I said, "even though the sign says 10:30". She said "yeah, it was slow, so...we just closed early" WTH???? This is the SAME DQ that tried to sell me cold/hard pretzel sticks and told me that's how they came out of the oven!! Metter, GA DQ NEEDS NEW MGMT!!!!! Will NEVER GO BACK AND WILL MAKE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!
