The table is a very warm and welcoming place. The location offers street parking that's all very convenient with no longer than a 2min walk to the front door. All the people are super sweet and attentive they're truly a team, as soon as we were seated our drink order was taken, as soon as our last person arrived our food order was taken promptly! First of all we were told the cake is fantastic and limited so we ordered the cake first 😀. I shamelessly snuck a bite before the food came ya know just to confirm 😉. Ok so as you see they have a very nice selection on the menu fresh seasonal salad and soup options, and an array of different sandwiches. I really enjoyed the pulled chicken sandwich on the jalapeno cheddar roll with a side of pasta salad and cheese burger soup! My friend really loved the meat loaf sandwich and the strawberry asparagus salad and the garlic Parm fries! Everything was served fast and d fresh! The flavors were on point! My only complaint would be the potatoes in the soup and the egg salad (we ordered to go for dinner) weren't quite al dente and the egg salad was a bit dry. Besides that they're amazing! This place has a great mission to help others who are struggling in different areas of life... They are connected to a church, they host celebrate recovery, and they offer a pay what you can option for those in need. I really enjoyed the whole experience and can't wait to see what their next...
Read moreYou can't provide lunch for 12 people, and say it's community meal. You give false hope to a lot of people and it's very disappointing. I loved the table, and I loved the statement the restaurant made for itself. I fully supported the table and their cause. Now, they've just become another restaurant chain, and it's sad 😞 please change the name of community meal as it sends the wrong message. I understand a business has to make money, but the ACTUAL COMMUNITY is of low income based or homeless and looked forward to this during the week. To take it away so abruptly was very wrong. Not to mention , community meal wasn't even an option 5 minutes after they opened. Almost as if the people who were going to get it were selected the day before. It hurts my heart to write this review , and it hurts my heart even more to now feel the way I do about the establishment. You should NEVER tease hungry people with food. It's wrong on every level. So again, Im asking that you please not call it community meal anymore. Maybe the first 12 ? Like the last supper ? I don't know. And thank you to the staff and everyone who made it possible while it lasted , it...
