The Palm Room — Restaurant in Louisville

Walked in to the first open mic night for Louisville vibe to support a friend of mine the security lady was very rude to start the night. Then my 6 month pregnant girlfriend was asked to not sit at seat that was "reserved" for pre-paid guests that was not even there at the time. while occupying one seat due to the rest of us was standing I asked if she could sit there until the guests arrived and was told that was not okay. I will not return to Louisville vibe until they return to nirvana. The bartenders were slow as well with 3 of them present only 1 at club nirvana and he was alot faster and ran the bar. Also walked out with a drink that I was not allowed to return into the venue with. the same drink that was allowed to walk out with. I will not be returning to this...

Arrived on a Friday @11pm. They were charging 5.00 entrance fee and Only 4 ppl in the establishment so very slow for a peak time. Did notice the entrance fee was selective. Several other individuals walked in with no charge 1hr later..?? I did ask the owner, who justified the inconsistency, by saying the door ppl knew the individuals and he was only the owner?? Weird statement for him to make regarding his establishments clear inconsistency. Bartender was accommodating. She did not know how to make a New York Sour but was willing to try and learn. Kuddos for her. Food was decent, ordered garlic parm wings and fries. Do I recommended this place NO.. if a owner can't hold accountability for inconsistency in his establishment I would hate to see what else he turn a blind...

I brought some colleagues and clients from out of town to Joe’s and they LOVED IT! My North Carolina client was astonished with the bourbon selection and the Indianapolis client had to get an extra order of crab cakes to go. Brought my DC client on a night with jazz and he was impressed. As an artist, I need my clients to fall in love with the vibe of our city & Joe’s Palm Room did not disappoint. The bartender treated us really well and the chef even cane out to greet us on the last visit. Lunch service was quick and I could tell the food was made to order....
