Avoided at cost, very bland and they don’t employ the smartest people. As I was having the ingredients options explained to me Because I never have been there. So one of the options was jalapeños. I literally asked are they fresh jalapeños or Are they pickled ones. The guy was like oh yeah they’re fresh ones. I couldn’t really see him building the burrito so when I got home, I realize he put mushy pickled Jalapeños on. The lobby had a weird decor as well And I definitely wouldn’t go again. Definitely recommend to stick to chipotle. I will say, even though the guy wasn’t the brightest bulb he was a nice person So at least they had that going for them.
Update on “owners” response. I’ve never had an owner come back with a response like this and this is laughable. First of all when you specifically ask, are they fresh jalapeños, and The response from your employee is oh yeah they’re fresh ones and then he commences to put pickled ones on that’s there’s a huge difference, especially when you Specifically ask if they’re fresh. So his lightbulb is barely one watt when it comes to that one. Second of all, I’ll get a little more into detail why you guys are subpar. I asked for chips and queso, and he said you guys had nacho cheese(can?) and mass produced tortilla chips. You guys can’t even take the time to fry up authentic tortilla chips and you can’t even take the time to make a great queso which all burrito places have a great queso. But seriously canned nacho cheese is a joke. When I asked for the spiciest salsa you had I was told Yep our green salsa,is the spiciest, a.k.a. Verde salsa, which is the very bottom of the spicy Spectrum if you compared it to anything else out there so. yes, your food is extremely bland when your Verde is your spiciest salsa. Other places have stuff that will melt your tongue off If your heart desires. Also other places grill their chicken, not boil it and then put it in a food processor to make shredded Mush chicken. That literally had zero flavor other than chicken. I recommend seasoning it up a little bit, don’t be afraid of flavor. It is scary that you have so many reviews. There’s so many better options out there for a quick burrito. But I guess in this area, they like bland burritos 🤮 I think it’s absurd that you would try to “dig in” When the truth of the matter is my Review was honest, precise, and articulate, but instead of doing the right thing and just commenting and saying we will work better to make it a better experience. You decided to dig in and try to defend an employee that literally didn’t know the difference between fresh and pickled jalapeños. Aaaand then you commence to acting like your burritos are of the best ones out there and it is the most disgusting burrito out there. Sadly y’all could do better by Grilling your meat, even if it was on a flat top griddle and then dicing your chicken, not shredding. That’s the lazy way! I suspect you shred it because it’s a faster process(lazy!!) So y’all put all your chicken breast In a food processor after have you boiled them(gag!) Hell, you didn’t even offer steak and if you did offer steak, the guy called it “beef” and not steak So I don’t even know what that means when someone says we have “beef” last I checked I didn’t go to Arby’s aka we have the beef! A trademarked Slogan 🤡 you need me to explain even better how dim this employees lightbulb was? I could go on and on about how dim his bulb was. But I will close with your decor. I get what you’re trying to do. Your tables seats were grass and the top were picnic tables pattern that doesn’t fit a burrito place. There was other things that were cool (Polished concrete floors) but all in all when I walked in I said this is the whitest burrito place I’ve ever been in and I’m white, so don’t get your panties in bunch. And I will stick to my guns that this isn’t a good burrito place and recommend avoiding at all cost unless a bland plain burrito is what you’re looking for. If that’s the case, just stick to your grocery store freezer section because you’ll save a...
Read moreWe had to wait 25 extra minutes than our online order pickup time was quoted, but I still was impressed with the food. I know business decisions being made in light of COVID are hard and stressful, so I appreciate the no indoor dining decision and trying to stop the spread by limiting touch points. The employees were all friendly and doing their best, just had a few major hiccups.
My only recommendation is to have more accurate wait times reflected. I also find it frustrating that 2 people walked up to the window and ordered their food at 6:20 in person as I watched them and they were given their food at 6:40 and I was still waiting outside for my online order to be ready that I had placed 30+ mins online before then. I am very patient and don’t fault the team for managing all these online orders and didn’t mind waiting for mine, it was just seeing people who ordered literally 30+ mins after me getting their food ahead of me and everyone else waiting outside that’s just not cool.
I don’t want you to lose future business over these decisions and inaccurate times being quoted for when your food will be ready, so I wanted to share my experience. I’m usually very rational, so didn’t want to leave a negative review like some others may be leaving.
Hope you can find your groove and continue to offer delicious food in a more timely and organized manner. Not going to fault anyone for trying to do their best in spite of COVID right now, just wanted to offer my experience so you can...
Read moreI've been patronizing various Neato Burrito locations for over 20 years, with equally great service across the board. I get the same weird, personal concoction every time. Once (only once!) in all that time did I change my order and not get jalapeño feta salsa. Yesterday, my husband went to pick up our order and the staff was very concerned, because I had used the "recent" option to add my meal to the cart on my phone, and didn't look closely. So I messed up my own order. They noticed, and told him I always got jalapeño feta, except that one time I didn't, and that time I had a detailed note about it, and did he know if there was a mistake? When he said he was sure I wanted it (I did!) they gave him a side container for me. I am so appreciative of a team that knows their customers so well, and cares so much, and my dinner was, as always, fantastic.
(And if you've never tried the jalapeño feta salsa, you've GOT to try the jalapeño...
