Ressler's Bagel & Deli — Restaurant in Lower Allen

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out based on the reviews. I will say that the food is delicious and they work fast. The bacon on my boyfriend’s sandwich was perfect, and they were very generous with the amount of cream cheese on my bagel.

The service was awful, though. Both of the women at the front were very short with us, and the cashier walked away in the middle of our transaction, leaving us standing there for a few minutes. My boyfriend asked a different employee if he could use the card reader, and she snapped “no” and walked away. When the cashier came back to the front, she started preparing cups of hot water (I guess for tea) for the customers behind us who were regulars. It’s nice that she knew their order already, but she still hadn’t even taken our payment. The same woman who snapped “no” later made it a point to walk the food out directly to customers at their table but not to us, did not put napkins in our bag, and seemed irritated when I asked for some at the counter.

I recently ordered a large quantity of bagels from Ressler's Bagels for a wedding brunch, and I am absolutely amazed by the quality and service they provided. These are hands-down the best bagels I have ever tasted!

From the moment I arrived at 8 AM to pick up my order, I was met with friendly smiles and an impressively organized process. They had everything ready and waiting for me.

But what truly blew me away was the exceptional customer service. Joe, the owner, went above and beyond by arranging for someone to help me load the bagels into my car. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction sets them apart from the rest.

Being new to the area and originally from NYC, we were happy to find a place with real NY style bagels, but their customer service lacks tremendously. This morning was the 3rd time we shopped there, and we will most likely not go back, as this makes it 2 out of 3. I've ordered for the family twice and a large platter for the office in times past. The older lady that served me was impatient, and when she asked me for my first name to mark my order and found it wasn't a 3-4 letter standard American name she just gave the nastiest look and shoved the order ticket at some younger underling as if she couldn't be bothered with the likes of me without even attempting to write my name. When my order was complete, instead of a name, my order was shouted out in its entirety unlike others.
