What a great, unexpected, Italian experience in the suburbs!

Beautiful venue, good food and great atmosphere, perfect for a night out with friends. I enjoyed my time here a lot!

As for the food we started with the homemade bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and I was not a big fan of it. The bread was very oily and I was surprised it didn't come free of charge with some of the starters like in many Italian restaurants I have been to. All three starters we had - spicy mushroom n'duja (a spicy, spreadable sausage), beef tartare and stracciatella (soft cheese) - were all delicious and great but the last one was my favorite. The tartar had a nice after taste thanks to horseradish topping, very enjoyable as well.

For the main courses we picked yellowfin tuna with peperonata, rigatoni with pork ragu and fettuccine with scallops. The pasta dishes were perfect! Al dente, fresh, seasoned, just perfect as they should be. Seafood tasted fresh, so did the pork. Yellowfin tuna seared crudo came as a surprise to me, already assembled with the pepperoni on top, was very good, soft and mild in taste. Citrus and fennel salad was great as well, flavors in there were incredibly well balanced.

What I didn't enjoy at all was the dessert - the tiramisu in a cup - was runny and watery, not bad in taste, but for me tiramisu is a classic and no experimentation is needed in order to stand out.

Delicious Italian primitivo accompanied our whole evening and was absolutely delicious, even though I was leaving with a sour feeling as the price of the bottle we drank was 8 times higher than the retail price!

Service was excellent, attentive and friendly, constantly buzzing around and refilling our glasses with wine and water. I didn't have high expectations and even though not everything was perfect, it was a very enjoyable evening with great food and amazing wine!

The only reason why I have 4 stars is bc the portions were extra small and I would pay more if the portions were a little bigger. I get it you want to give us the right sized amount but it is appreciated if your servers maybe let us know if we want to share between 4 people that we each will get 2 raviolis (one of the pasta dishes) and for the special pasta we each will get 2 bites of bucatini pasta. We ordered a second special pasta bc it was delicious but we wanted a third and fourth bite! The chicken paillard was delicious but not enough chicken and too much sauce and mushrooms. I would actually go as far to say that the pasta portions would be considered almost like a tapas portion where each person gets a bite maybe 2…. Anyways I’m still going to return bc the flavors were worth it and the home made pastas were worth it. We ordered 3 piattas (the bread) bc they were delicious but they were very small and you must have this so you can soak up the sauces it’s so yummy. I wish the bread would cost $8 and just give us double the amount instead of us having to keep ordering more piatta. 4 ppl cost $400 including tip and you don’t leave feeling stuffed but satisfied. Thank you for...

We have been here about 7 times and the food keeps bringing me back. The service however is questionable. The service has always seemed a bit haphazard, however our waiter last night was surly and inattentive. We have been here a number of times and sat at the bar which is always a positive experience. The caccio Pepe is exceptional and our friends wanted it in the dining room which is 5 steps away from the bar and our waiter curtly responded that it is not available in the dining room. I was put off my his response and said that seems a little rigid. Which apparently annoyed him but he came back and said they can make it if we had our hearts set on this item and that was the beginning of the end...... The waiter was seen slamming doors, no cheese offered for pasta, and the rigatoni was very undercooked and it took 5 minutes to get the attention of any waiter in I replace the dish. The rigatoni came out 10 minutes later after everyone at the table was finished eating. When we went to the manager to discuss our experience his response was disingenuous I have always loved my meals here but last night was a real turn off because of...

This spot is absolutely adorable prime date night material. We kicked things off with the beef tartare. Flavor? Spot on. Texture? A little too minced for our taste borderline mushy, but honestly, I’d still order it again. Next up, yellowfin tuna. Solid dish, and that sauce? Chef’s kiss. Now, let’s talk about the oysters. They were on the special menu that night, and WOW… bangers. As an oyster fanatic, I can confirm they did these Rockefellers right. For the main, this seafood lover went for the Mediterranean dorade picatta. Perfectly seasoned, crispy skin. Then came the Cacio e Pepe. A simple, classic Italian dish. Was it life changing? No. Was it creamy enough? Also no. My partner thought it was okay, but as a non-pasta person, it just didn’t do it for me. Big shoutout to our waiter, who was on top of everything by keeping our space clean, ensuring we were set for each dish, just top-tier service. We ordered everything at once, and the whole experience was smooth, professional, and paired with the perfect warm, intimate lighting. Definitely worth a visit!

🌟 Restaurant Review: Tresini – A Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Flavor 🌟 Dining at Tresini was truly a standout experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, with a beautiful balance of modern style and cozy charm. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel welcome. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our server took the time to explain the dishes and even made some fantastic wine pairing suggestions. Sean Was The Best!!!! Highly recommend Him When You Go In. 🩷 Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and artfully plated. The pasta was clearly made in-house and cooked to perfection. and it was one of the best I’ve had. The flavors were rich, layered, and satisfying. Tresini is perfect for a date night, special occasion, or a night out when you simply want amazing food and exceptional service. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
