Heard some good reviews from the local community and wanted to give another local small business a chance.

I would put this solidly as a middling experience. The food was well prepared, but just nothing special. Well presented and fresh, but just not all that flavorful. My wife and I started with the Empanada appetizer. As others have mentioned, chips and salsa is not complementary as may be expected from other Mexican restaurants. The empanadas seemed to be a pre-made, possibly packaged dish. They were not very flavorful, though the green sauce they were served with was tasty. Not enough to save the main dish, though.

I ordered the steak fajitas and my wife got three chicken tacos, supreme style. Again, the dishes were served hot and well presented, but the flavor of both fell flat. The tacos were dry and both the taco and fajita meats didn't taste like they were overly seasoned. Not bad food by any means, just nothing special.

Service was spotty. We were in the restaurant around 4:00 in the afternoon with one other seating. Our server was adequate, but not available when we received our appetizer and we had no app plates or silverware or after our entrees were delivered and my wife was looking for some salsa or some sauce to try to save her tacos.

With other tried and true options available to us locally, this just didn't set itself apart from the pack making me want to come back...

First and foremost, our server was a very sweet girl, so the review is no way indicative of her personality. Her ability as a server is subpar at best. I ordered the gringas of which you receive two. I asked for one being Al pastor and the other being chicken. Fast forward 15 minutes and I receive two orders of quesadillas . One being chicken, one being Al pastor. I explained the confusion of not wanting two separate orders, but one of each, needless to say, she came back with two half orders of quesadillas . Not what I ordered. I’m lactose intolerant, and that is why I ordered the gringas. Quesadillas are loaded with cheese. At that point, I was done. No more complaining…..simply pay for my meal that I didn’t order, and consider it a lesson learned. My wife ordered a burrito bowl and said it was average at best. I simply don’t see this place making it more than a few months, with there being much better...

Incredible, authentic Mexican food. Everything is fresh and delicious. There are so many options and everything tastes amazing. It's a shame a few petty people gave this place 1 star over stupid reasons, like they waited a little long for their food when the restaurant was busy and understaffed (seriously, who goes online to trash the reputation of a small new business over one experience? 😂) There's even a guy who gave a really nasty 1 star review because he's lactose intolerant and made the dumb mistake of ordering something that has cheese in it, so he assumed the restaurant gave him the wrong order even though they did nothing wrong at all... buddy if you read this, gringas are made with cheese, and also you're an unpleasant tool. Anyway, everything here is so great. From the appetizers to the desserts, this is really, really...

1st time here. We came because a friend recommended the place. I'm not sure if they were having an off night. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were stale. I got a chicken quesadilla, and my husband got the chicken enchiladas. My quesadilla was OK. My husband didn't care for his enchiladas. The black beans were room temp, and the enchiladas tortilla was crunchy. He couldn't describe it to me. He didn't know if it was fried, baked or whatever, but he never had it like that before, so he just ate the inside, which he thought was OK. They had a steady takeout service. Several people came while we were there. We ended the meal with funnel cake fries and ice cream with fried chips dipped in sugar.

4.5 stars; food was delicious! We tried every taco on the menu and the quesabirria. We also ordered pico, guac, grilled jalapeños, Mexican sodas and the pineapple agua fresca. Service was a little odd - my husband had to find our VERY young waiter to get the basics (cutlery, napkins, check, etc...) but he was a quiet, sweet kid. We asked which tacos were which but he wasn't sure and we didn't see one adult in the entire establishment. We thought the prices were very economical based on the quality and volume of food. Overall it was a fantastic experience; will definitely be returning!

I have eaten here about a half dozen times now. The food has always been very good. Ive tried burritos, chimichanga, Pina Loca and Tacos. The only things that I would complain about would be that there is no website or online ordering. I seem to have a hard time understanding the phone person due to a lot of back ground noise. I'm always surprised that it isn't busier here since the food is great!
