McDonald's — Restaurant in Lower Salford Township

I am very disappointed. The whole experience only got worse from the moment I pulled up to the speaker. I waited at the speaker for a while before someone said "I will be with you shortly." Okay no problem. Finally someone asks "How may I help you?" So I give my order. Waited then I got asked again so I gave my order again. This happened two more times before I see that my order is finally getting taken. In the meantime, the line of cars behind me are honking at my to move my van. The vehicles at the other speaker are having no issue putting their orders in and moving up. Four cars went through before my order finally got taken. I pull up, pay then wait for a little till my food was handed to me. No problem, I did order four special big breakfasts. (My kids are picky) I checked my food before I pulled away and noticed I only have half my order so I let the lady at the window know and offered to move up till they finished my order. I didn't want to keep the people behind me waiting since their orders were finished. She said it was fine that my order is coming up now. I got my food and drove home. I am pulling out the food and my oldest daughters bacon doesn't looked cooked all the way. My eggs looked sad. I got half of what my other daughter got on hers and mine looked like someone chopped them up and I got the scraps of what was left. Also, there was no salt, pepperfor the eggs nor any jelly for the biscuits. Like I said in the beginning, I am very disappointed. I have been working at a different McDonald's for over a year and my service here was ridiculous. I understand some of what happened but other things are unacceptable. This location is the epitome of incompetent. I know on weekday mornings the older aged staff are polite, but their sandwiches are made well in advance and microwaved to extremely hot temps that make the buns rock hard as they cool down. The rest of the time when the current teenagers are there it seems they are managed by an equally incompetent teenager and not anybody actually watching over them in any way. I cannot imagine an adult that isn't a complete idiot is overseeing what happens at this location later in the day or evening. The microwaved horrible breakfast sandwich problem i understand and a lot of locations serve that trash. I go to dunkin donuts right up the road for breakfast instead.

But the worst food in general i have ever gotten at a McDonald's anywhere has been at this location more than once with the evening staff teenagers on duty. Food that should never go out. Like a cheeseburger where the meat was dipped in strait grease and slips apart when you bite in. Bacon that tastes like cleaning chemicals, etcetera. On top of that, you order 5 sandwiches, they give you two napkins over and over. If you say no pickles, they load up extra and the food will taste funny. I have thrown out more food from here than anywhere ever before because it seems like these kids messed with it. Most if not all of the staff besides the morning staff should be fired.

If i was the owner or manager of this location I would be extremely embarrassed. The level of stupidity required to screw up as much as these kids do is biblical. This particular McDonald's location is one of the worst fast food places in the area. Don't bother going there as their are many other options who value their customers much more than this location does.

Their drive-through is one of the most annoying, unnecessarily over designed, rediculous experiences one could encounter while getting food, to call it fast in this instance would be far too charitable.

It is like they felt the need to redesign the wheel, by adding 4 corners on it!! Most drive-throughs, in the area, nation, and world for that matter have people line up, and then allow them to drive through in order of who got there first. This McDonald's decided that wasn't good enough. Taking inspiration from maybe the DMV, or perhaps local Dental offices, they split the line up into two lines, but still only take orders from one car at a time. This allows them to arbitrarily ignore or take orders from whoever they feel like, and almost definitely not the person who was there first.

I decided to write this after sitting on one side of this two lane line, as three cars I was there before ordered ahead of me in the other lane. This is common there, albeit egregious this time. I am certain I am not the only one as it happens regularly to me there, and I dont go there often. They clearly are not paying their workers enough to even come close to tracking and handling this complicated ordering process.
