Nestled in the hills of bucks county is a coffee shop off the beaten path that is dedicated to the art of providing to you the best tasting coffee you’ve ever had.
This small, non assuming store sits behind and between two autobody shops. This location was strategically selected in order to facilitate the fixing of cars as they get into accidents jockeying for parking slots when it gets busy (JK, don’t worry, there are lots of spots to park - just make sure you park after you’ve entered the gated area-near the store entrance).
Upon entering, you are greeted by the wafting aroma of freshly ground and brewed coffee. I take a few deep breaths, inhaling slowly through my nose and holding for a few seconds so the aroma is seared into the smell-memory part of my brain. It’s a small, quaint store, unassuming but serious as a heart attack when it comes to coffee or tea. The shelves on the walls contain an eclectic mix of coffee, tea, mugs and all sorts of knick-knacks, all very, very interesting. It’s not the usual coffee stuff you find at Starbucks (ugh). They even had siphon coffee makers on display/for sale. That’s how serious they are about coffee. Williams and Sonoma doesn’t even carry this type of coffee maker - I checked, so there’s that. This is how I knew this store was/is special. They sell cool and interesting stuff to match their amazing coffee.
They also make a bunch of hot and cold drinks but my wife and I weren’t there for drinks. We were there to pick up fresh ground coffee. We started buying coffee here a few Decembers ago. Then we started coming back every December as a tradition to buy coffee to kick off the holidays. There is nothing more profound than taking a sip of this elixir on an early December morning and tasting that magical Covered Bridge coffee. But we also stop in when we can.

Read moreComing from Staten Island, I will go out of my way to get Covered Bridge coffee whenever I visit my friends in Bucks County. I love their coffee and how personable they were! I visited during Small Business Saturday and we were invited to a tour in the back - the roasters and the entire team couldn’t have been friendlier! It was there I decided I’m going to start making my own fresh ground coffee at home vs k-cups. The coffee is amazing, I have several bags stored in the freezer and will continue to frequent them for when I run low! Thank you for making amazing coffee...
