Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Lubbock

Convenient location, but terrible service. I ordered on the app for curbside service. When I arrived, I checked in on the app. There was one customer in the store picking up. When they left, I expected that the employee would check orders and find that someone was waiting for an order. Instead they stood behind the register watching the TV for the waiting customers, which there weren’t any, except me, for about 5 minutes. When they turned away and went to the back, I waited a bit longer hoping they were getting my order ready. I finally had to go inside and ask for my order. It was in the warmer right by the register. The receipt even said curbside pickup. Why have the option for curbside pickup if it isn’t going to be used properly!? I gave the second star for the convenient...

I don't know if this was a corporate decision, or one made by the franchise owner. Using the exploitative model of door dash (this goes for all delivery apps) in place of the delivery drivers they used to have ain't it. I guess the guys at the top needed more money, huh? Why pay a driver when when some one else will do it for you? Never mind that being a pizza delivery driver used to be a stable job with set hours. That's not corporates problem, they need more money. I know you won't care that you lost me as a customer, but I hope people read this and think twice about ordering from you.

As a side note, the food was fine the the door dash driver was nice. The employees are not the problem.

So I order the hut regularly and called to get some parmigiana and pepper flakes and blue cheese put in with the pizza and wings.. I was informed that they charge for these items now and even the mgr was adamant about the few cents that these items are actually worth, having owned restaurants myself and even worked in very high end stores I frankly couldn’t believe that they are so cheap that they couldn’t even add these things to my order and let me go as a repeat customer. I am truly sorry that business is so bad for you guys and need extra money..I’ll never order...
