Update 7/12/2022: extremely disappointed on this visit to the 98th and Quaker location. 3 young men working and either all 3 were all new or 2 out if the 3 were new. Which is fine but they needed to have an experienced person with them. I always order the steak and cheese double meat and he said he could not add double meat. I asked why and he said there was already a lot on it. I said I always get double meat. The next 2 sandwiches were the sub club double meat and the meat on there was barely what is put on a regular. My husband said just a strip of mustard and strip of mayo and they drowned it in both. Our 4th sandwich was just a ham and cheese and there were 2 slices of ham on it. Plus they just finished cutting each bread and the one guy tells the other guy to ring us up. Instead of waiting until the sandwiches are close to being done. Not sure what happened to the 3 ladies that were there on the other 2 occasions but they need to find them and give them a raise to stay because these 3 young men are going to lose them business.
Original review. This is the only Subway location (98th and Slide) that we will go to. The sandwiches are always great. We have never gone and they were out of anything. The food deck is always clean. Bread is always there and so fresh. Restaurant is also very clean. We used to go to the one closest to our house on 50th and Quaker but they are always out of bread or meat and their cleanliness isn't up to par. 98th and Slide is our location from now on. If they make your sandwich incorrectly, Hope (employee name) will happily grab a napkin from some undisclosed location and wipe off their mistakes. I know you think I must be joking but I am not! This is exactly what happened to me today. I watched an employee that was working at the register grab a napkin and wipe off the mustard that was applied incorrectly by another worker. When I told her I didn't think that was correct she said "that's how we do things here and if you don't like it you can file a complaint" Of Course I want to file a complaint. I had to fight with her for the managers number. After paying for my freshly made napkin wiped sandwich, I know what you thinking.... YES I did pay full price for that mistake of a sandwich. I went out to the car and called the District Manager, who was too busy working at another store to care. He just kept saying he would call me back. I yelled at him but who wouldn't?!?! Meat/ bread woman went to get supplies w her part of sandwiches ready.Nick in charge of veggies/ cash register promptly stated, as 7 witnesses watched, “I’m out, my rides here.” Thought he was joking, so we said~ haha, you’re leaving the cash register wide open. He wasn’t joking, he promptly got HIS bag of food, stopped & filled his drink & picked his 2 bags of chips selectively off the shelf, and proceeded 2 leave. 7 customers questioned his actions, he didn’t care. He left your location wide open w/o anyone to tend to customers or YOUR business. Everyone watched in disbelief. One customer stated, “This always happens here.” This is ludicrous considering Subway’s current reputation which sucks. We won’t ever be back, this will be posted to every acct from 7 people that watched it happen & had the time to talk to each other in disbelief of what occurred.
