Mr. Darcy's Bar & Burger — Restaurant in Ludlow

First I want to say that our waiter Anderson was absolutely wonderful. He was the only thing worth going to this resturant for. The owner was hosting and Im sorry, for a seemingly upscale restaurant, she should have dressed a little nicer. She looked very unprofessional. She proceeded to sit us right next to a table with a party of 6 so close to them there was barely space to get in. Mind you, there were plenty of empty tables. I felt bad for our sever as she constantly micro managed him when he clearly didnt need any help Silverware was dirty. The bartender had to help out the waiters, and let everyone know she wasnt happy about it as she stormed by complaining that there were 12 tables and only one waiter. She had an apparent attitude the whole time we were there. Lets talk about the food..... Mediocre at best....the prices they charge is outrageous for what they served. We all had burgers and they were all overcooked. Mine was suppose to be a regular burger, but yet I tasted the truffle sauce they use on their fries. The ketchup bottles were practically empty, we had to fish around for one that was full. Bacon is listed as thick cut bacon. It was paper thin. You can see through it. And why is every alacarte? Including the drinks? Lol. I never seen anything like that. Will not...

The food itself was good. The fried pickles and burgers were cooked well and tasted good, but the service was horrendous. We were a group of 5 from out of town and 3 of us got there sooner than the other 2 so we can get a table. The 2 in our group were running late so we decided to get a drink while we wait. When taking our drink orders the waitress misheard what we said and brought the wrong drinks. She didn’t ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything else until the other members of our party arrived. She then could not comprehend a question one of the party members had and he ultimately decided to just forget it and point to what he wanted without making any alterations even though he wanted to. While we were waiting for our food our waitress and a few other workers were standing in the middle of the bar area on their phones and not paying attention to the customers. She also did not follow up with our party to see if we needed anything until we had to wave her over. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is because the food was good and came out...

Im very unimpressed with meals, I asked for my burger to be cooked Medium well and got the cow still mooing at me. But already knew it would be an issue to get it cooked more after biting in to it and didn’t want to wait the 20 minutes for a new one. Others in my party were missing cheese on their burgers, sent back burgers that still weren’t cooked correctly. The Mack n Cheese tasted like Velveeta out of the box. Sent one order back for the mac n cheese for being cold, and still came back cold, also forgot the bacon that they charge $2 extra for that we needed to add ourselves. Also, can’t get separate checks for a big party because they are “too busy and that’s too confusing” I also witnessed and heard a waitress say, “we are too busy what’s your birthday, I’m not worried about an ID”

I understand that the world is unstaffed but for the pricing of this restaurant this is unacceptable. I was really excited for a good burger and will be leaving extremely...
