Papa Gino's — Restaurant in Ludlow

Very unprofessional got skipped cause I couldn't see the menu and I got skipped twice the cashier proceeded to tell the gentleman behind me she still doesn't know what she want do you know what your going to get I can take you she clearly saw I was having trouble seeing the menu then instead of asking if I was ready she proceeded to skip me again and explained the menu the the young man oh but she couldn't explain or ask if I needed help very bad service then when she was done she finally asks if I'm ready and now I needed to wait 10 min for pizza to come out like really you have to be kidding me this was March 6 2025 at 12:22pm Y'all need to do better have pizza baking when you see u have less than half a pizza out there not wait till you have nothing to put one to bake it ridiculous even more when it's a travel stop and you have people coming...

Papa Ginos on the Ludlow Plaza off of the Mass Pike is a must stop for some great food and some excellent service around. When Papa Gino's and DeAngelo's closed down on Boston Road it was a huge disappointment but to find their location on the pike is a life saver. The food is great with a wide variety of options to appease any guest that wanders in. The staff at this location always go above and beyond to meet the guest needs. Justin is a fantastic employee and deserves some high praise on his pure dedication to the job. You can tell just how passionate he is about his job and it was a pleasure to be able to interact with him and I look forward to seeing him whenever I dine there. According to the pizza box, this is an establishment with a long history in New England, and the official pizza of the Patriots. Both of these statements made sense, as the pizza was nowhere near authentically Italian (nor was it the New York pizza I adore), and the Patriots are better known for cheating than for pizza.

That said, our visit to the Mass Pike pizza stop was actually more enjoyable than you might think. The pizza was pretty good (though a little pricey), and I enjoyed a delicious cherry vanilla Dr Pepper, after the counter attendant pointed me to the soda machine with a helpful "it's right over there, bud."

I won't pretend this is destination pizza, but it certainly was a welcome break...
