Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lumberton

You can't go wrong with Sonic. I had ordered some drinks and they even made a drink my sister wanted that was not on the menu. Thats accomodating! Thanks Sonic!!! I wanted to add something...this very same Sonic has been around for many years. Its kind of a tradition as a few other local places are, to have the High School kids work there. It gives them the opportunity to learn about having a job and develop skills in customer service. After looking at some of the reviews people post on here...I just want to say that we as the adult (and some that worked there themselves) need to take that into consideration. This is our future and how they develop their skills depends on us. So if you have a issue with something you get...kindly tell the young lady or man and give them the opportunity to fix it. Also don't forget to tip. I noticed a lot of people don't anymore but just because they aren't on skates anymore doesn't mean they aren't out there busting their butts in this heat so they can learn. Alot of them have never cooked a meal before this job I'm sure. Show them support and encouragement and you will likely be impressed by the change. P.S. if that dont work then call me...I will go do a Chef Ramsey...

October 14 ,2024 my client ( Mr . Bartlett ) and I ( Claudia ) went to Sonic around 3:00 p.m next to Lumberton intermediate school today to have lunch and he ordered the larger chicken fried steak burger , french fries & diet Dr pepper . He said that his burger bun tasted to dried out & like the burger bun was old & the french fries didn't have any salt & the french fries was to crispy & hard to chew to were french fries was over cooked . I ordered the larger garlic bacon burger , french fries & coke . My french fries didn't have salt on them either . The garlic bacon burger was extremely greasy to were the bottom bun was soggy . The lady server didn't even ask if we needed anything else like ketchup & etc....We had to ask for ketchup & there was only two napkins & no...

I've been to sonic a handful of times and everytime I go I end up at a stall that does not work and the screens are barely visible due to damage from the sun. Today was the worst experience I have had with sonic. I pulled up and pushed the red button and nobody answered so I pushed it again and finally someone walked over and said they were trying to talk to me (obviously a problem with the speaker) then they took my order and said they were going to make my order pop up on the screen and that never happened so by now I am already irritated so I decided to go to the drive thru and placed my order and yet they still manage to get the order wrong and the food was cold... c'mon sonic y'all are better...
