I went through the drive-through today with my three year-old and my five-year-old. My three-year-old cried for a few seconds. I asked the attendant if they could hold on for a moment while I calmed her down. He was very polite and said yes. Then I proceeded to make the order after I was finished. I heard another person come on the speaker and say Let’s just reward our bad children with Frappuccino‘s today… I then drove to the window to see what looks like maybe a 17-year-old child laughing behind the counter with someone else that works there. Clearly, this person has never had children and has no idea if I have an autistic child in the backseat of my car. Clearly this person was just a mean, girl. It’s 2025. Unfortunately, this particular Starbucks location consistently struggles to honor that simple request. Despite politely asking, I almost always receive drinks filled to the top with ice, which not only dilutes the flavor but disregards a health practice that’s important to me. It’s frustrating to have to explain this every time, especially when it feels like my needs are not being respected. I hope the staff receives additional training on listening carefully and honoring customer preferences, especially when they’re...
