In response to one insane review on this page, one of the owners of Montana Plains, Joey, who is my partner, and who has two children of his own, would absolutely never make snide comments about special needs children. What he does do, however, is get into political arguments with strangers on facebook. I try to tell him not to feed the trolls, but he has a hard time not taking the bait. Anyway, sometimes these facebook strangers who don't even live in Virginia troll his profile, find out where he works, and leave one star reviews of his business with asinine accusations that have no basis in fact. I know I'm biased, but Joey is truly a doting father and the kindest man I've ever had the privilege of knowing. But you don't have to take my word for it. Pop in to the bakery and see for yourself. I am not local, and a relative brought me here for the sausage and egg brioche rolls. I am so glad they did. This bread is moist and delicious, and the filling is quite tasty. Some might say there is a paucity of filling, but there is exactly the right amount. There is a good amount of the delicious bread to spread honey or jam on. I loved them! They also had a cinnamon roll as big as your head. The bread was slightly coarse and dense, spiced just enough with cinnamon and a perfect amount of glaze. Don't pass this up when you visit.
