Bruno's Tequila Bar and Cocina — Restaurant in Lynn

What a find!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the food and service we received at Bruno's last week. Also I should mention how happily surprised I was at how clean the place is, including the bathrooms which I suggest you go in just to read the signs which are hysterical! Gloria and Kelly are so friendly and helpful with the menu and choosing exactly what you will like best. The appetizers are huge and the best fried pickles I have had in Massachusetts! The star though is the burger... fresh ground and hand made patties through out the day so they are super fresh (when we were finishing eating we could see them making more patties for the night crowd which was fun to watch). I got the Lot Burger and OMG OMG OMG OMG best burger ever! The egg was fried so perfect so that first bite the yolk gushed BUT not all of it, they cooked it so that there would be yoke in every bite (how I have no idea other that to say the chef is a genius!) the home made potato pancake was delicious and we were eating bites separately that were larger than the burger, the bacon is thick and super crispy and a big piece of cheddar that I tasted in ever bite! I cannot wait to go back on Saturday to get this again (even though I am dying to try the celtic burger (a take on shepherds pie!). My man got the spicy burger and said it was the best ever. We used to go here when it was brunos burgers and the food was great! It's been a couple years and now its brunos tequila bar. We stopped in and the place was a practically empty and smelt like a toilet. We considered ordering food but the other 3 people there were just drinking and given the smell and the fact that there was nobody in the kitchen we just had a jack and soda and a jim beam and ginger ale.
