Mi Pais Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Lynn

I walked in and was quickly greeted which was great. There was no one else in the restaurant. I ordered a jamon torta and my bf ordered lomo saltado. 10mins go by, a guy and a little girl came from the back. Not sure if he was the owner or if he knew one of the workers there because he quickly received his food BEFORE my BF and I while my BF and I waited 50mins for our food. Again no one else was there besides my bf and I and then that guy that came from the back. So I don't understand why it took almost 1hour to get our food. Our food finally came and it was COLD. The only hot item were the fries which were filled with oil.. Also as I mentioned before, I ordered the jamon torta, but I received a chicken torta. My bf and I are not new to lomo saltado, we had it before at different restaurants and this one here was by far the worse. The meat was so dry and tough. My bf described it as a bad carne asada with fries. His rice was also cold and hard. We came here because of the great reviews on tiktok. We were very disappointed and will not be coming back and will not be recommending this...

I personally did not order/eat the food. I was driving for DoorDash and went to pick up an order here and when I went in to pick it up they simply told me, “oh someone already came and picked it up”…how is that possible? Don’t you show the server when you confirm your pick up? I had to let my customer know about the mishap and let’s just say they weren’t too pleased and I had to take the brunt of it. The owner had me wait 25 minutes for them to cook another meal and neither he or the server who gave the food away seemed to show any sort of guilt. I received no tip and a bad rating for something I had no control over. I mean, how careless and lazy can one server be to just confirm the order was picked up by the right person. On the other hand, the driver to pick it up doesn’t seem to bright upstairs either because he delivered his customer the wrong order. Overall a terrible dash experience and hope I never have to go back there...

They charge WAY too much money for mediocre food.I wish they would at least try to keep the integrity of the Peruvian dishes. The lomo saltado and arroz chaufa are disgusting. The rice is sticky outside and raw in the inside, the steak is almost boiled instead of having the grilled flavor. Every time I think that maybe the next Peruvian dish will be better I just confirm that I should stop buying their Peruvian food. Plz just stop offending the exquisiteness of the...
