The Lumberyard — Restaurant in Lyons

Hwy 56 is a passer through stretch of road that has full patron potential. However the atmosphere is very coffee shop like rather than brewery and the bartender with the “Best Bartender” on the back of her shirt could be more friendly and not acting bothered. We were the only folks in the place and we were trying to find out some information for future visits, as we travel this way often. She was bothered by our conversation. Based on the service we will not be making any future visits to The Lumberyard. The lady bartender was very rude and not didn't want to do her job. She didn't want to start the pizza oven so we couldn't even eat the second night we went. The first night the owners were there and it's was way better. The 2nd night was horrible. They need to get a new bartender who wants to do her job without a attitude. I see others negative reviews about their bad experience with a bartender here but the one we had was SO great. Very kind, helpful and made awesome cocktails. Beer selections were limited at the time, and only a couple drafts from the brewery itself, but all good too.
