I have been going to this Dairy Queen on my many trips through Lyons since 2005 and a majority of the time I get great service. Today though I was disappointed with the customer service. 20 years ago when I worked at DQ we learned that the customer is always right. When a customer of 25 years says their order is wrong will you please fix it, you don't argue with them and say "Well that's how we do it here." like the young man working there did today. Instead the response is "I'm sorry I will get that fixed for you you right away" or something along those lines. Someone else made it correctly and handed it out as he was being talked to by the manager afterwards so I'm sure it was corrected promptly but I did want to get this off my chest. Otherwise this has always been a great establishment that gets my order right. For some reason every once in a great while someone thinks a chocolate chip blizzard is made with dark chocolate chunks instead of chocolate cone dip. I suppose it's an easy mistake to make when you're new but don't tell me that your particular franchise has chosen to change the system. That's not how any of this works....
