Sam's Crystal River Seafood of Macclenny — Restaurant in Macclenny

I am so 🤬 mad. Called in an order to Crystal River tonight. Looked at their menu online, picked an entree that said it came with garlic bread, salad, and one side for 11.99. Order it, don’t get the side. Whatever, I was going to give it to my boyfriend anyway. Pick it up, and the total is $20?? Whatever. Everything’s going up, and frankly, I gotta eat dinner either way. Just drop it.

Drive 30 minutes home, and realize I have two salads and no entree, and just as a little additional 🖕🏻 the dressing is wrong.

Soo I call and speak to a manager. She tells me she can offer me a giftcard. I told her sure I can come get that, can I -also- get the dinner I paid for? She says absolutely.

So I drive 30 mins back into civilization, and I walk in and my correct order is waiting on me. No giftcard. Manager comes out. Tells me it’s the food -OR- the gift card, she will not do both. Okay but that’s not what you said on the phone. She says “well that’s not what I meant” cool! Regardless of what you meant, that’s what you said. “Well I’m not doing both.”

I also wanted to know why I was charged $20 for something that’s listed as $12 on their website.

The food wasbgood but you can tell the baked beans were under a heated lamp without being stirred. The waitress didn't check on us much and didn't bother to ask if I wanted more to drink and she had to be catches quickly to ask ( I went awhile without something to drink and was quite thirsty. The amount of food my mom got was pettiful and I offered her some of my food to her to eat. I asked twice that I wanted shrimp added to my meal and the waitress, come to find out, didn't write it down. I discovered this after we got the meal. I had to tell her that I did say it more than once and she claimed she didn't hear me. Same happened when inwas telling her my drink order. I was telling her what I wanted to drink and she interrupted just to ask me what I wanted to drink. I am not sure if she is new as it was my time at that location. She may not be that good of an listener and something that can be worked on...Nothing against her or the establishment. We alway have something that we can work on and better in our own lives. I drove 20 miles to try it because of recommendations of some family friends. I can get better service, atmosphere and food at the location on blanding. I will be going to that one again for now on as I have had better...

Ordered to go meal. It was only two blocks from my hotel and they recommended the venue. told it would be ready in 20-25 min. i waited another 10 min, then my order was brought out. Took another 10 min to pay because cash register needed to be rebotted twice. Got back to my room and unloadwed bag. I was missing clam chowder and baked potato. Immediately called them and had to go back, they have no delivery. Now I wait anotrher 10-15 min, during which my wife calls me to say the food is cold. The backed potato was hot and good. The clam chowder (new england style) was hot but more like a broth. My wifes's meal was clam strips and french fries all mixed together and cold. Tasted blah and chewy. I had the seafood trio (pollack, shrimp and scallops) all were cold. Scallops had a light batter and were decent. Schrimp and fish were heavily battered. fish was poor, schrimp was okay. We both has a side of fried ochra, which was cold but tasted good. Hush puppies...
