I originally had a ring already purchased somewhere else that my wife loved. My wife and I went out there to bring her grandmothers wedding set out that was missing a diamond for them to see what they could do to help us out. Kenny took the time to look at it under a scope and told us more about the ring set. A platinum band that had the year 1959 with her grandmother and grandfather initials. Completely touched our hearts.

While we were there I said to my wife why don’t you look at what they have for new rings here. So she did and fell in love with one that his dad had made from his store.

Kenny and I exchanged numbers so I could speak with him about the ring without her knowing. On his day off he answered a few text messages. I knew then this was the place I wanted to deal with.

So that week I purchased the ring and took the other one back that I had purchased/ on layaway. I had a feeling that this would happen and she would find something else.

We just celebrated our 25th year along with our vow renewal and wow that ring looks so amazing on her hand. She loves it so much.

Absolute nightmare dealing with this place. Please don’t go Dinkins Family Jewelry or ever trust their word. My wife and myself decided around September of last year to have some family jewelry repurposed to allow myself to have a new charm and my wife, daughters and nieces to get a ring from our family gold. We were promised by Mr. Dinkins and His wife that because we were so early before Christmas that we would definitely have it in a couple of months. Ok so I call in December and I’m informed that nothing has been finished but the Christmas present wasn’t even started. Totally ruined my Christmas but they apologized and promised me it would be done in a month. Two months later I go by and they still haven’t even started my Christmas gift or finished the rings. About a month later they finished the rings but not my Christmas gift and Mrs. Dinkins attempted to tell me they never promised me anything before Christmas and that her husband was very depressed and didn’t feel like working on my things. So I waited another month and called to check on my then 7 month late Christmas gift and was told that Mr. Dinkins was only working on things that he had to and still had not finished my item. I told her to please not tell me that my things aren’t important and I’ve been waiting over 7 months of which she replied that I haven’t and then to top off everything Mr. Dinkins told me that I crossed the line and to come get my gold back. When I got engaged, we got my first ring from here. The staff is incredible and they were so helpful in picking out my ring! I was over the moon to be engaged. I then just had the worst luck. I turned out to be allergic to my ring. Fortunately, the jeweler was willing to help us and get us on the right path. He made some adjustments to my ring and for a couple months I wore it with no complications! Then I had some more bad luck, when it broke. I was devastated and didn’t think there was any coming back from this. I was SO wrong. The jeweler and staff at Dinkins ( my main chick KRISSY!!! Who is amazing, check her out she will help you with everything you need! ) made my dreams come true. I thought we were about to be looking at thousands of dollars to remedy this. The jeweler gave me many options that were all so kind and so affordable for us. We chose to go with a completely different ring. While we waited for our new ring, he gave me a replacement ring to wear and he even took my old ring and put it on a necklace for me to keep. The staff and jeweler are all incredible people who care so much about their customers. If there’s any place I recommend, it’s Dunkin’s Jewelers. They are unmatched!
