Hampton Inn & Suites MacClenny I-10 — Hotel in Macclenny

The only reason i have this 2 stars is because the staff was polite and friendly even though they didn’t respond back to our reply to the text they sent us. This was by far, without a doubt, the dirtiest room we’ve ever stayed in and we’re constantly traveling. We were appalled by the amount of hair that was caked in the room. I took photos! After a 16hr driving day, all we wanted to do was sleep. ||Yes, we brought our dog and paid $75 dollars on top of the hotel fee. Was the $75 to sleep in a kennel? That’s what it felt like with the amount of hair in the room. It clearly wasn’t a cleaning fee. They should have paid us to stay there. Our dog has Auburn hair and is a very minimal shredder even when the seasons change. There was long white hair caked all over the floor, hair on the couch, black hair on the towels, bathroom floor and top cover of the bed. You could see the nasty toilet ring when walking into the bathroom. There was toilet paper on the floor and chunks of what appeared to be a mix of human and dog hair all along the wall. The shower had black hairs in it. Honestly, it was nauseating. ||They sent a welcome text and i replied about our room bring disgusting. I even sent pics. No reply! We just ate and went to bed. We were exhausted. The next morning we both felt congested and my husband couldn’t stop sneezing. Honestly, it was worse than if we slept at a kennel. Our clothes were covered in white dog fur. Completely disgusting. I would never recommend this place. There’s probably an animal shelter around...

This is our third time there and this wasn't a good one let's start with the room we both take medication and we had a handicap room 230 in the morning we hear motorcycles wrapping up in the parking lot and I don't think they were just waking us up there waking everybody but if you know Macclenny Florida it's nothing but a pure redneck area so that tells you who was outside so we get back to bed 5 minutes before 4 am kids running up and down the hallway hitting the doorknobs waking everybody up I guess the parents don't know how to take care of the kids and we surprise the motel let them get away with it now the best one for Less if you like cold breakfast then this is definitely your place I was sitting there for about a good hour on the hot bar the eggs and stuff never gets turned around so it was cold they had no milk you haven't asked for it it wasn't a good experience and then comes the coffee oh we're at a half and half I'm waiting for the truck to come in this sounds like it's a personal issue not mine I am the guest so you can see what went on here and for the money there charging I guarantee this other place around besides Macclenny Florida so if you have to travel a little bit big deal I'd definitely don't recommend this particular Hotel and if the people who read it on his review they need to get off their seats and...

My family and I have stayed here several times when we come to visit our family in Jacksonville from Atlanta. This particular time (Labor Day weekend) will definitely be the last. We stayed on the 4th floor and there was a very strong mildew odor in the hallway. It wasn’t as bad inside of the room until we turned on the AC. We called the front desk but they were all booked and couldn’t accommodate us or give a refund and we had to speak with the Manager the next day. We sneezed, coughed, had runny nose and itchy eyes all night. (My husband and 4 kids) We notified the front desk again around 7 am and the gentleman said they would have someone out to look at it today; something happened during the hurricane. I knew he was just telling me anything to push me along. I’m in the field of maintenance so I know mold and mildew cases and no one is coming out on a Sunday to “look” at anything!!!! They wouldn’t allow a refund but a transfer of rooms (6 hours later) We packed our bags and left the room around 8 am because we couldn’t bare the smell. We received a call and they informed us they had a room available and moved us to the 2nd floor and it wasn’t as strong as the 4th floor but it was still an odor.
