New Moon Restaurant — Restaurant in Macomb Township

First of all, I'd like to start by saying that I placed an order for general tso chicken. And as we all know, it's different everywhere. But I was at work and Hungry and I really wanted Chinese. This was down the street from where I was located at, so I gave it a go and called to place an order. Everything was fine. I pulled up a few minutes later. I was very, very nicely greeted at the door. I'm politely told that it would just be a few minutes. That's fine I took a seat. I've seen multiple employees here. They were all very nice. I think it had to have been less than 2 to 3 minutes later. And I got greeted again, saying it would just be another minute. Awesome I very much appreciated the update. I paid had no problem and greatly Took my food back to the truck. Now, I'd like to first start by saying the amount of food they gave me for the price was amazing. It felt like I had a few pounds of food. ( Obviously, it was not a few pounds of food, but you know what I mean) Open it up. Was pleasantly surprised by what I seen it was fresh. It was hot and it was absolutely delicious. This has been some of the best Chinese food. I've had in a long time!! I am actually moving to the area in a few weeks and this will be the only chinese place I go to. I even had enough for leftovers the next day, which Obviously isn't gonna be as good as day. One of getting it, which has nothing to do with the facility, but it was still pleasantly very good for being leftovers. 10/10 Recommend and I can't wait to try some of their other food options. When I do I will possibly come do an update on other foods. But for now, I only have this one with a picture for reference of the amount of food that I got. I don't know the exact amount. So I don't want to post that here in case it's wrong, but it was very decently priced, especially for the amount of food that I got. Absolutely amazing!!! On a quest for a new Chinese restaurant for me and my family , I noticed next door to the Hersey Ice Cream ( which by the way they’d received a FIVE Stars PLUS rating.). The food was just ok, nothing spectacular and I probably wouldn’t have gone back, I was Underwhelmed. When I went to pick up my order. I noticed they had dinner rolls and I placed a second order of a dinner roll, it’s bought out 10 minutes LATER. The bag was warm and the aroma was that of a bakery all the way home. I proceeded to fix my plate and grab the bag with my dinner roll and to Surprise , Disappointment, and ANGER when I find a half BURNT roll. I wouldn’t serve this to my dog, more less a customer. I would have gladly waited if the first was burnt for her to prepare me another. I will ( on my next Hersey ice cream run) I’ll be returning this BURNT DINNER ROLL!,.. I wonder WHY it just didn’t matter how my food was prepared or served, cause clearly this should have tossed and a fresh one prepared. There are No excuses that this would be served to a customer. New moon more like you go there once in a Blue Moon and matter fact I wouldn't go there at all. The quality of food used to be decent But Blue Moon has gone downhill. I got the Seafood combination chow Mein and if you look online it writes as $5.50 so when I call to order the lady sead the total was $15.00 so I told her that on line It said $5.50 she goes no you got the wrong restaurant so I ordered it anyways so when I went to pick it up I showed the guy at the counter the menu online and he said no the price is wrong he doesn't know how they have the price on there for $5.50 he showed me the menu and it was $15 Which isn't bad I'd still pay that much if the quality of food We're good. So I told him thay should change the website because I can see how people would get mad so I get start eating my order and it was soupy and the shrimp tasted a little off It had a bit of a fishy smell and taste and any seafood shouldn't have a strong fishy taste If any shellfish have any fishy smell like that it means it's not fresh and it's past date. after eating the couple bites of it I went into the rice because I was still hungry but after a few bites of the rice I lost my appetite end end up...
