Los Jimadores — Restaurant in Macon

This place used to be great but has went way downhill. We went there a couple nights ago after a ball game and had the worst service we've experienced at any restaurant. Someone who clearly wasn't a server brought us our drinks and took our order. After waiting over an hour with no food and very irritable children they finally came back to our table and told us there was just lots of tickets and our food would be out soon. Another 20 minutes we finally got our food. If the food was great it wouldn't be as much of complaint but that wasn't the case either. So $80 later with no apology offered and most the food left on the table my suggestion is...

We were seated and then ignored for 22 mins, not even drinks, it was not busy, only 2 tables. Someone finally came over to take our drink and food order, about 15 mins later we finally got our drinks and waited 25 more mins for our food. I ordered queso with chorizo and instead of chorizo there was hamburger in it, and my husband was given chicken instead of steak, when he told the waiter he rolled his eyes and said sorry. Ended up leaving without To go boxes. Very unprofessional, most of people that came in after us were served before us and were checked on many times while we were ignored,...

We like to stop by here when we are passing through, it's about an hour from home, and our kids played sports along this route. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I have ranked all of our local restaurants based on their fajitas (lol) and Los Jimadores does not disappoint.

The owner rang me up as we were leaving one evening. I commented on their chorizo and my inability to duplicate my desired results, lol.
