McDonald's — Restaurant in Madera

Came in on 8/20/2025. I needed to use the restroom before ordering. In this location a worker needs to open the restroom door. 4 mcdonald's employees passed me as I waited patiently in the front. Not one single person acknowledged me or said welcome to McDonald's. I had to flag down a person to open the restroom. I then ordered at the kiosk machine. And it was not working. Headed to counter and had to flag another person to help. Basically was told to use the kiosk machine. I informed them it wasn't working. I got my order. Fries were basically thrown in the bag and not even inside the French fries bag. The person just placed the bag on the counter. Had to tell them I did not get my 2 sodas. They gave me my sodas but noticed that they were not even filled to the top. Had to ask for BBQ. I didnt even bother to ask them to top the soda. Another CUSTOMER had issues with kiosk and I saw a female employee roll her eyes at him and told him to use kiosk. He said it wasn't working. I told her it wasn't working. It looked like there was some argument with the employee and she was taking out her attitude on the CUSTOMERS. Mcdonald's please do better. Customer service has always been key to happy and returning customers. I am never coming to this Mcdonald's again. I rather drive 10 miles to another location then this one. 1. Recently remodeled into a rather bland and tasteless environment with the only menu options through kiosks. While near a Rescue Mission, they rarely cause any disturbance inside. However, the more 'hardcore' homeless individuals, are often panhandling the drive-through and can be an unnerving annoyance. Another annoyance is the restrooms are constantly locked and one must bother busy staff to request entry. Fountain drink dispenser has been removed along with all kapkin/straw dispensers providing another irritation having to ask for everything. While staffing seems friendly enough and Wifi is provided, all electrical outlets have been removed, requiring consumers to seek elsewhere to recharge any and all devices. The food is the least favorite option. The coffee is hot and comes with a refill. The shakes are nice, although be prepared to pay $5 for a 'large', and it will be questionable whether or not the icecream machine...
