We used to order well over a thousand dollars worth of cookies from Cheryl's Cookies every Christmas. They used to have great customer service and cared about their customers. About 4 years ago we noticed it went downhill fast. Shipments would not arrive on time before Christmas (when ordered well in advance) or would just never arrive. We stopped doing business with them and moved to C. Kruegers cookies. I decided to give them another chance. My family is gluten free, and Cheryl's offers gluten free Christmas cookies. I ordered them on Dec. 9, 2024. They were supposed to arrive about 8 days later. It is now 12/22/24, and the package has yet to arrive. I tried the online Chat on their site, after waiting over 10 minutes for a breathing human to join I disconnected. I sent an email to Cheryl's explaining the problem. Still have not heard back from anyone! NOTHING! Also, FYI: If you call on the phone you are patched to someone far away, in a far off country, such as Malaysia! This is absolutely disgusting what this company used to be, and how good they were to how bad their customer service is now! They no longer care about the customer. And the proof is that it's nearly impossible to contact anyone about your order. You'll remain in CHAT for a while. You'll be sent to Malaysia, you'll have to do some online searching to find even an email address, like I did. But none of it matters. As long as they can increase profits and not have to deal with their customers, seems they're very happy. A word to the wise, stay away and shop with another company that cares about you and your business! Try C. Kruegers, she is the originator of Cheryl's Cookies. They are much better and they arrive on time...
Read moreLet me start by saying what most have acknowledged…the cookies are delicious. Everything else surrounding the company sucks.
I discovered Cheryl’s when some were delivered to my workplace. I went to the website and saw that they offered cookie of the month subscriptions that are seasonally themed . Thought it would be cute to give them out to family and friends throughout the year. Here’s where everything went left. November I was supposed to get a leaf cut out cookie but I received sunflowers (September’s theme) and generic white circles. Called and was told they ran out of the leaf. Not sure how they ran out but ok; they refunded my money. December is here and I’m supposed to get a Christmas tree cut out. Guess what I got….September sunflowers. What I’ve learned is the subscribers get whatever they have left over which seems the opposite of how the product should be allocated. Now if you have to call customer service be prepared to deal with language barriers. It’s really unfortunate when a company has a great product but can’t seem to figure out logistics. I would not recommend them if you want something specific like I did. If you are open to the mystery surrounding what they will deliver then the flavor of the cookie...
Read moreI can't say how the cookies taste because they didn't arrive as scheduled. I ordered on 10/11 for a 10/30-31 delivery. I got an email a week ago stating they had shipped. When the order didn't arrive and I went to track shipping, UPS said the order was still with the company and had not been received. I tried to use customer service chat on my mobile device, and it did not work. When I finally reached someone using laptop chat, they could not offer an explanation of why my package never made it to the shipper. Even worse, the chat is agonizingly slow and consists of someone trying to find the correct template answer for whatever was asked. First they offered to let me know when they got an update on the delivery as the resolution. Next, they offered to send a second box. I declined and they did agree to the refund I requested, but this took about 30 minutes in a chat that should have been less than 10 minutes, and I still don't have the cookies I need for an event Nov. 3. Really questionable company. Would...
