Burger King is my father’s favorite burger restaurant. I grew up loving the classic #1 (my Dad’s go-to) as my favorite all-time meal. And now, I have the opportunity to share me and my father’s love for the Whopper, with my daughter. She specifically asked to eat at Burger King, and the Madison exit is always the halfway point on our trip to Augusta. My father was hit and hospitalized by a drunk driver. Visiting the Burger King, at a time like this, was very sentimental to me and my daughter. We were on our way to visit him. We arrived at the Burger King located at 1950 Eatonton Rd, Madison, GA 30650. When we arrived, there were four vehicles in line. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before getting to the ordering que. When we got to the que, we waited an additional 5+ minutes for the attendant to ask for our order. The attendant did not know I was recording a video. My daughter was excited to place her order. She asked to order her own food. As she began to order, the attendant did not respond. I prompted my daughter to order again using her loud and proud voice. She attempted once more, but was interrupted by the BK Attendant. The attendant was extremely rude and disrespectful. She interrupted saying, “Maam, maam, maam, can you do the talking. We need to make sure this is going to be accurate”. However, my daughter was speaking clearly. When I responded, “She gon do it”, the attendant replied immediately, “Well my manager said if you can’t do it yall can leave the um, drive thru”. And to which I replied, “Well bye”. I’ve never received customer service as impatient and disrespectful as this. The attendant was rude. My daughter has been through a lot already and she is only 6. My daughter sat back in her car seat and began to cry. I wanted to stay and defend my daughter’s intentions, but I worried the crew members would spit in our food, or worse. I have this interaction recorded on video.
I will be contacting the corporate office. This is a customer service establishment. Burger King mission statement is “Offering reasonably priced quality food, served quickly, in attractive, clean surroundings.” Burger King core values include “teamwork and family, excellence and respect.” Burger King uses these core values to provide a healthy work environment, and structure that drives the success of Burger King. Today, none of those core values were displayed.
I left this BK and went to the McDonald’s located right down the street. My daughter ordered her food through the drive through. The crew member at McDonald’s was extremely patient. My daughter did not have to repeat her order more than once. She left McDonald’s happy, and I thanked the McDonald’s crew member for her excellent service especially following our negative BK experience. It’s not uncommon for children to order their meals through the drive thru. It’s a great bonding and learning experience.
I am currently in the hospital with my father and will be contacting the BK corporate office Monday morning. I have already submitted a complaint via the BK website.

Read moreIt's a terrible place to eat,order and dine, I never seen a place so dirty,filthy, unorganized with a very terrible service. I dropped by when they just opened, the place looks great outside, but when I came in, it was so dirty inside ,plastics, french fries, tissue papers all over the floor, drinks section was so filthy, ice were empty, cups ,lids, straws all over, garbage all over, when I looked at inside the counter, there were like 5 workers just talking not caring that their floor was so dirty with all kinds of stuffs from french fries, tissue papers, cups, spilled drinks, etc. nobody cared to pick up or clean up..Its just unacceptable. I had to wait 45 minutes just to get my order (a whooper burger and drinks). When I got home, the soda that I got was tasteless ( sprite),the burger was so ridiculously bad that its hard to describe how it looks and taste,even my dog doesn't want to eat the burger. Burger King if I had to rate from 0-10 , I'll give it (-20)! right, negative 20!! I will never ever come back to this place, even they'll let me eat for free.... The service was so terrible, so bad, the workers were very unprofessional, food taste so bad, and it SUCKS! Don't make me wrong about Burger king because I love Burger King, not on...
Read moreHorrible experience the other night in the Drive-Thru. Store was not closing for at least another hour. But for some reason I'm unable to order a hamburger. No worries it happens sometimes so I figured why not treat myself to a tasty milkshake. Nope, wrong again. To me it only makes sense if you can't cook hamburgers at least serve a milkshake or something in this place. The girl on the other side of the speaker seem to disagree and proceeded to yell at me and talk down to me. I just so happen to be recording something I was practicing so I ended up getting all of it on audio I don't know if I should share this or not. I will however say that on the daytime crewvits quite different. Myrdle was quite pleasant and accomodating. If she's working I know I can count on good customer service but if she's not there I don't think I will choose to eat here again it was really terrible the way I was spoken to. into who that crew was it supposed to be so bad you know who you are.
