For my birthday we ordered the prime rib for curbside pickup. We got it home a and both our prime rib was mostly fat and gristle. We needed our sharpest steak knife and still could barely cut it. It was like chewing on a piece of bubble gum. I called to let them know (I wasn’t looking for a free meal) they I said a gift certificate would be fine. I know it’s a tough time right now and didn’t want them to have to refund it. The offered me $40 in gift certificate. Our meals were $40 each. But, I said that’s fine didn’t want to make a big deal. So tonight we called and ordered the “Fish Fry” which shows on their menu @ $15 a piece. We ordered 3 and paid the extra plus gratuity on our card. When, I got home we noticed our card had been charged $55. I called to find out why. They told me that they have 2 diffrent menus on their website right now and don’t actually have the $15 fish fry. They only have the $25 walleye. Which we were never told beforehand. I told them the fish itself was small triangke shapoed pattie like you get in the freezer section. They said its hard times right now and they gotta make some money somewhere. I get it but providing poor quality food then taking advantage of your customer with multiple menus maybe isn’t the best way. I’ve eaten at Delaney’s many times and up until these two experiences it’s been great. There’s a reason I choose them for a birthday meal.
