They’ve been in business for decades and the exceptional quality of their flagship glazed donuts speaks for itself. They’ve only recently begun to have any local competition to speak of. You could say another of their signature products is their “Long Johns” which resemble an eclair visually, but are actually oblong shaped donut pastries. They’re chocolate glazed and you can have them plain unstuffed or stuffed with two different choices of cream filling. I say this with 100% seriousness, it is the peak of madisonville breakfast. They are a small building that isn't advertised super in your face, so you'll drive by it if you're bot careful. They sale out of donuts FAST. If you want any chance at getting those bacon topped maple iced long johns ok a Saturday, you better be there before 8 am. The ones who know, get it. Also, I think it's important to note that Golden Glaze also has a great lunch menu and quick service. Their deli sandwiches are stacked high with meat and your choice of toppings. They do not skimp on the quantities trust me. I've eaten there many times on a 30 minute lunch when I've been working close by and always had plenty of time to order, eat, and get back to work within my break time.
