So this place opened up a couple months ago maybe even a year ago and I must say for 6 months that I was going here it was the best food I was getting in Madisonville anywhere and here lately I have gone the last 3 to 4 times and sadly I don't think I'll ever go again I like the atmosphere and I like the service the people are very nice but here lately the new owners have been releasing new menu items and I think it has taken away the love from the original food that was there to begin with I noticed the cook didn't seem too happy and the lady who is managing him around probably don't set the mood for the guy either and it just seems all the subs and the burgers I get are messy sloppy and absolutely no love put into it. Don't get me wrong maybe it was just the day I went or the people that were cooking that day but personally I would appreciate if somebody would address this because I haven't recommended the store in a while I told my two co-workers to stay away from it because it'll just gross you out I spent almost $30 which really didn't add up to the price of what I was expecting to pay but I was fine with it until I got home and ended up spending $15 on Taco Bell because it was just not even edible at that point I don't know what's going on but truthfully I missed the original people who had it open to begin with no offense maybe there are some notes you can...
Read moreUnexpected company couple weeks ago, at dinnertime swung by bought couple philly cheesesteaks and Italian subs for all, pretty descent food. More out of towners showed up yesterday, all decided to go with some Reubens. Looked good, except corn beef was brown instead of signature pink when cooked. Don't know what that was about, but none of us could even finish half a sandwich as appeared someone had dumped an entire bottle of garlic salt/powder on it. Nothing on menu description prepared us for this, was not even listed as optional topping. Maybe just retaliatory behavior of disgruntled cook mad at owner. Not many other options in this rural town, but there are a few.
I indeed did not call, just cost some bucks to learn a lesson.and I do know what garlic taste like. Maybe need to learn what seasoning and how much is in what you use. May just be a mad or untrained cook in culinary arts. Then again, connected to a gas station, should have expected gas station quality food. Good...
Read moreI wish there was a higher rating for service!! Steph went above and beyond! I was very happy with my meal. A new restaurant came to town so I was doing a little head to head. So glad I did found a new fav! Best part about having different places in town is you can get the same thing from a couple different places and duke it out. today I got a Cheesesteak with peppers and onions add mushrooms, mayo, stuffed buffalo tater tot things (forgot the name) fried green tomatoes,BBQ fries. Cheesesteak filling 10/10 delicious. Bread not so much unfortunately kinda soggy maybe that would be better eaten there Instead of take out. Tater tot things taste amazing but I personally don't like the texture, but then again I'm a weirdo. tomatoes were amazing!!! Perfect breading was nice and crisp plenty of seasoning and the middle was melting in your mouth so perfect to me. The fries were great they were fries with yummy stuff on them covered in delicious BBQ sauce. I will def be back. Looking...
