China Fun Buffet — Restaurant in Madisonville

I left a blank 5-star a year ago, but am adding my review now.

I have eaten here my whole life and still go here several times a month, sometimes a couple times a week. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently great.

The buffet is good and anytime the buffet has ever been low on a food I want you just have to ask and they will quickly make more, but usually they are already in the process of making more anyways. Some of these reviews are clearly just really impatient people. Still, if you feel the buffet is not fresh enough for you or not worth the cost for what little you are going to choose to eat, then I highly recommend simply ordering the food instead of getting buffet.

I order take-out all the time and the food is always amazing and you get such big portions for a really good price, especially compared to the other local Chinese place. I can get several days worth of great food here for the same price of one average meal at the other place.

Alright, so my father joined the navy when I was 6 years old, and we got to move all over the country right. When we got to Jacksonville Florida, we found a Chineese food place that delivered. That Chineese food place would always give us extra on everything, the rice, the egrolls, even the Fortune cookies. At the beginning of every year they would give us calendars fo that year. That was the absolute best Chineese restraint we ever found from moving all over the country.

But when it came time to move back to Tennessee, we had to search and search for a new Chineese restraint of that Quality. We searched for years and eventually just settled on what there was to offer, until we tried this one.

I took the first bite of an egroll on the way home, and it was amazing. It was a Florida quality egroll. The chicken fried rice was awesome, and my mom enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken that she got. We searched for a long time to find another Chineese restraint like the one we had in Florida, and now we found one. I just wish we had found it sooner. I visited this little chinese buffet today. At first glance i wasnt sure about the place, small, simple styling, and the buffet i was there for looked nearly empty. The friendly staff quickly had us seated and im so glad i stayed and will continue visit this gem. Since only a few people were in dining at the time the staff was only putting out a few servings worth of each dish on the buffet at a time and thats why it looked nearly empty. As soon as something ran out it was quickly replaced with a few more servings of fresh and hot food. I much prefer this to having a full buffet that just sits on the bar for hours. And im talking delicious food, constantly hot and fresh and a real reminder that good food doesn't just come from fancy 5 star restaurants. I will be returning next time im in the area and i just wanted to write this review so i can let others know if they get there during slow hours and see the buffet nearly empty like i did, dont be fooled, it is hot and fresh and quickly refilled, treat yourself...
