Tonight, my mother and I were subjected to the most horrendous, disrespectful, despicable treatment by another human being I have ever experienced in my life by the manager of this Pizza Hut. Before I go any further, please know, I have NEVER posted a bad review like this about a place, particularly one that targets a specific individual. I worked many years in customer service, several as a manger of a fast food establishment. I GET it. Sometimes there are bad nights, sometimes everything just goes wrong and customers are mad at you and there is nothing you can do. I try so hard to give everyone grace and be as understanding and kind as I can. But nothing, NOTHING gives anyone the right to treat my mother and I as we were treated tonight.
Here is our story (or at least the basic outline, I'll spare you the worst of it):
First, after placing our order online and showing up at the time that we were told our order would be ready, we were told it wasn't ready yet and parked. No problem, that happens, but after 30 minutes of waiting in the car with my 1 and 3 year old children, I tried calling the store to check on things. I was literally told by a kid that he didn't know what happened, and couldn't help me. I finally I had to tell him to please go check on my order, was placed on hold, and after 10 more minutes decided to go inside, where I patiently waited behind 6 other frustrated people who had been waiting a long time for their orders. When it was finally my turn, the apparent manager at the counter couldn't seem to find my order. I'm pretty sure the issue was she was looking through carry out orders and not finding me because it was a drive thru order, but as I tried to explain this and speak to her about it, I was literally told to shut up. When I expressed to her that I was not thrilled with her customer service and please, I just either need my order or a refund, she decided she just was not going to help me at all. She proceeded to ignore me and my mother who also tried to come and get service, and was crazy rude and disrespectful for an HOUR. My husband finally had to drive to their store to help my Mom, while I took our kids who were starving, crying, and very traumatized at this point, to Wendy's to get some food. It took them CALLING the POLICE to finally get our money refunded. I am still just dumbfounded that someone could be so incredibly rude, particularly someone who is a manager of a business like this. Read moreIf I could give no stars, I would. I called my order in and was told it would be ready in 15 mins. I arrived in 15 mins and got in the drive-thru line with 4 cars in front of me. Ten minutes later, when the line hadn't moved at all; I parked my car and went inside. As I did, I passed a family with 3 pizza and 3 sets of wings. I had ordered 1 pizza and 1 set of wings. When I got inside, the screen said my food was ready, but the staff said they were "trying to find it" (as though pizza sprouts legs and can walk away). No! That's code for these jokers gave my food to somebody else, probably while I sitting in the drive thru waiting to be served. And then they weren't even smart enough to restart the order. They then wanted to run my credit card without giving me the food. This would have effectively held me hostage and made me wait for them to make it again. I left. If they are doing such a great business that they have to give your food away before you get there to claim, the don't need my money. I would not recommend them and I have no intention...
Read moreI ordered a pizza on line tonight, i was first given a confirmation, then was told there was a problem and to contact the store. I called and asked if my order had been placed, the lady was rude and said she couldn't look up my order, i said the store doesn't do this, she said this isn't the store this is corporate, i said i called the store and asked if she would connect me to the store, no i can't do that. So i thanked her and went to the store. Thankfully my order was ready. I took the pizza and bread sticks home, and they were without a doubt the worst i have ever tried to eat, which i didn't. So i called the corporate office and told them about the problem, the lady said that the person who I talked to the first time was not corporate, but instead it was a call center.
