Gather at The Mark — Local services in Madisonville

I don't often post reviews, even if displeased with a service, unless they go above and beyond either being amazing or being horrible. Unfortunately for this review, they were incredibly horrible to the point of leaving me speechless.

My mom's friend had lost her dad this past week and my mom called to have something sent to his service. Being that we live over 4 hours away, this was done over the phone. The first woman my mom spoke with, Lisa, was very kind and even sent my mom photos of different options of things she could send. My mom and I looked over the photos and ultimately decided to just send a floral arrangement. When my mom called back to place the order, the original woman did not answer, but another woman did. This other woman REFUSED to take an order from my mom because my mom had mentioned her friend was also a florist. She said that she did not feel comfortable making an arrangement for a florist.

To me this speaks volumes. First, it was for a FUNERAL SERVICE not specifically for my mom's friend who happened to be a florist. But not only that, this woman's level of confidence in the flower shop had to be virtually non existent if she did not feel comfortable making an arrangement for someone else in that profession.

Working with flowers you deal with some people during their happiest times and some people during their most miserable. The callousness and rudeness that was shown to my mom while discussing flowers for a FUNERAL is unforgivable and...
