I tried calling 3 times and each time no one picked up, and the voicemail kept going to a enroute boutique. So then I tried to go on their website to order and the website kinda sucks. I kept clicking order now and entered all my information, I even made an account. But after doing all of that it kept taking me to their events page. I tried clicking menu, cart, and order now. All of them took me to the events page so then I powered and reset my phone. Signed out and then back into my Google account and was having the same issue.
So then I decided I was going to go through the drive-thru and that is where my experience made a 360. The workers were super sweet and kind. It was a bit of a wait but that's cuz I got a wrap. I ended up ordering an Adult Lunch able, to share with my pup, a chicken bacon ranch wrap, 2 salted caramel macaroons and then 2 raspberry ones as well. I also got an iced white chocolate mocha. I spent $45. The lunch able was really good. It came with 6 pieces of Salami rolled into a rose, some candied pecans, dried fruit, which I didn't like as much as the rest of it. Some grapes and cheese and then 6 pita breads. It was all super yummy besides the dried fruit. I just don't like dried fruit, there wasn't anything wrong with it, just my preference. The chicken bacon ranch wrap was super good. The lettuce was amazing quality. It looked like it was Lolo lettuce which is one of my favorite kinds, and high quality. Altogether the wrap was amazing.
The macaroons are sold by the piece, which at first I thought was steep, but after eating them I see why. They were so tasty and just the right amount of sweet and soft. I wish they sold in bulk, cuz I'd buy.
Lastly, the ice white chocolate mocha was amazing. It was just the right amount of sugar, milk and coffee. Most places use a little bit of coffee and a lot of milk and sugar, but Whisk makes it perfectly.
My experience trying to order online or by phone call really had me thinking I wasn't going to like this place, but I do.
Now if they can fix their phone and website, I would give them a 5 star rating.
Thank you Whisk, and welcome to the Mahomet...
Read moreI recently visited Whisk Coffee and Wine Bar in Mahomet, IL, and I have to say it was an absolutely delightful experience. I ordered the pretzel breakfast sandwich and a mocha with strawberry foam, and both were incredibly delicious. The sandwich was perfectly balanced with savory bacon and melty cheese on a soft yet chewy pretzel bun. The mocha was smooth and rich, and the strawberry foam added a surprisingly refreshing.
Their updated menu features a variety of new and tempting items that show they’re constantly innovating and raising the bar. I've traveled all over the world, and I can honestly say their liquor selection is world class unique, thoughtful, and expertly curated.
Whisk also features a beautiful boutique that adds a warm and stylish charm to the space. From home goods to gifts, it's an unexpected gem that makes the whole experience even more special.
On top of all that, they host amazing events that are not only well-organized but also feel truly worth every dollar. Whether it’s live music, wine tastings, or seasonal celebrations, they create a vibrant community vibe you don’t find just anywhere.
What truly sets Whisk apart, though, is the kindness and humility of the owners. Their welcoming energy is felt in every detail of the space and the service. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and their craft.
This spot is more than a coffee shop or wine bar—it’s a destination....
Read moreI've only visited once (3/2022) so I can't really give a thorough review. My first impression was quite favorable though. This is a clothing boutique, wine, AND coffee shop. I only had a wrap and some wine. I went in with three ladies. The proprietor (a woman) was very nice and offered us an impromptu wine tasting. How could we refuse? She opened three bottle (between about $20 & $30) before each of us selected our favorite for a full pour. The fourth in our party ordered a $10 flavored martini of some kind. It was very close to closing time when we arrived but they were gracious with us and didn't make us feel too rushed (when staff starts turning over all the chairs and putting them on the tables you can take the hint). I think this place is well worth a try. I'll go back and try their coffee. Maybe a different food item. I don't know if they have anything for men in the clothing boutique side but I can always pick up a bottle of out-of-the-ordinary brand of...
